Prime Manny has no problem with Algieri, who I think is a very good fighter. Faded Manny might get upset. Algieri has elite level chin, and mental focus. Thats really all you need to be a potential upset.

No, I'm not hyping the fight. Not buying it myself, faded Manny isnt worth $65 to me. Catching the free replay over Thanksgiving weekend will be enough for me. Rooting for CA though, be great if he pulled it off.

would hardly consider it "shocking the world" an upset yes.
    1) pac isnt unbeatable, most recent loss was 2 years ago and a by knock out
    2) pac is in his 19th year and started off at 112 pounds, he wont be the bigger guy or stronger guy
    3) pac looks like a beast in training but does too many things outside the ring
    4) he a 9-1 favorite
    5) not having any power at this weight could cost him as you mention with it going to the cards...dont leave it in the judges hands then

1 month ban bet to anyone who thinks Algeri will win 4 rounds on at least 2/3 judges score cards.

most guys who are 10 to 1 under dogs are not supposed to , whats your point? sounds like you are bragging about him winning a fight that he supposed to win hands down.

the time is right for an upset....doesnt mean it will happen, but i hope it does, because this was s hi.t fight from the beginning that no one cared about.

Why do you cry about every other favoured fight but this one?

Your hidden agenda is very very clear.

Ffs Pac is a 16-1 fav

HBO posted the Algieri - Provodnikov fight on youtube and I watched it yesterday in HD. I'm not too impressed with Algieri to be honest, he got beat up in the first few rounds, was in a big hole, then boxed somewhat better but I still don't think he won that fight. I gave it to Provo by a few rounds. He was all over Algieri and landed the better punches all night.

I like boxers, but Algieri moves so much that he's never even set to throw proper punches, that's why he has no power at all. Here and there he'd throw decent jabs and some rights, but for the most part, he thinking moving again before he even lands his punches.

That left hook that dropped him in the Provo fight would get him KO'd against Pac. He has absolutelly nothing to keep Pac off him, and would get walked down and stopped (Pac's foot and hand speed + power will finish what Provo couldn't). This is a **** match-up really, Algieri not ready for Pac yet and hasn't done enough to be considerd a legit opponent, imo.

    I hear this.

Ridiculous claims. A boxer with these attributes would be a beast

Actually gents, I think Pac is gonna out box Algieri. Pac will be setting some southpaw traps that Algieri just is not ready for plus the pressure he puts on him will be measured and calculated. Not taking anything from Chris because he is an excellent boxer and he has no fear. Just think, this man is used to being kicked in the face. He just doesn't have the boxing IQ at this time.
