Crawford is a slow starter that is nothing new but so is Algieri. Crawford might lose 3 rounds to Algieri who to be honest isn't that good. He moves alot with no real purpose and has a decent jab and is tall. Crawford is much more complete than Chris a blind man can see who's the better fighter here.

Where is the potential top 10 p4p fighter coming from? This has nothing to do with Algeiri, I'd pick Mathysee to squash Crawford and Mathysee isn't exactly top 10 p4p.

The guys best win is againsts a featherweight in Gamboa, seriously, top 10 p4p from that? :patsch

Like I said, Algieri is also predictable and hittable.

He was good enough to beat Provodnikov and beat Taylor more convincingly than Broner.

Broner, another guy who would beat Crawford.

    Crawford would destroy Broner.

Look at his skill level look at his ability to switch stances and his ring IQ. He's still young he has future top 10 P4P fighter written all over him. You say you've been boxing and a trainer for years then you should be able to recognize real talent when you see it. You should easily see that Crawford is more skilled than Chris, it's easy to see.

Well you're citing Algeiris loss to Pac like it means anything towards Crawfords chances. Might as well claim Crawford beats Canelo because he faced Floyd and he lost.

Algieri was expected to lose to Pac, so would 99.9% of every other fighter south of 147 aside from Floyd, so I dont even know why thats being used as a reason.

Pacquiao was able to time and counter Algieri. Crawford has better timing and counterpunching ability.

Crawford was the fighter of the year last year so he must have beaten someone other than a featherweight. Anyone who has won fighter of the year is a candidate for pfp status.

Yes he is. He actually has bad defense he just moves alot and people think that's good defense. It's like saying the old Khan had good defense because he used alot of movement.

Chris has a long ass reach, good height, a lot of heart, and very decent boxing skills. Boxing skills that kept him undefeated until he faced an ATG. Like I said, he beat Taylor more convincingly than Broner did, he did that with skills and his natural advantages because it sure as hell wasn't with power or raw athleticism.

Crawford is a good boxer but styles makes fights. He could beat someone like Garcia because Garcia has to come to him and Crawford can outbox him. Against Algieri though what is he gonna do? Algieri gonna backpedal, he has to chase and it'll be 2 boxers facing off against each other. When 2 decent boxers face, usually the taller, longer, backpedalling boxer wins, unless the shorter boxer has a clear edge in power, speed or toughness.

He arguably beat Provo remember that, it was a close fight a lot of people here thought Provo won.

Broner wouldn't beat Crawford and this is coming from a Broner fan. Crawford would outbox and outwork Broner who would spend majority of the fight not throwing trying to load up and mug at Crawford. Crawford is a bad match up for Broner and I said this back when Crawford was still at 135.

Go boxrec him, it'll tell you who he beat. Its a guy called Gamboa, yes Gamboa is a FW. The fact that he was fighter of the year doesn't invalidate my statement which is fact, he beat a FW. Gamboa is like 5'5, Algieri is closing to 5'11. Big difference.
