The paranoia on this site is unbelievable. I have been following boxing for 25 years, I joined this forum a month ago and have no alts, if there is a way to get a moderator to check this then feel free. The reason I was hesitant to join forums in the past was because I feared they would be pathetically polarized ****ing contests between the diehard fans of a few PPV fighters that would drive me out of my mind, turns out I was right... But I'm still going to stick around for the few good threads there are out there. You've made some correct predictions? Good for you, if Algieri and Crawford ever meet this won't be one of them.
Just IMO The only thing Algieri has on Crawford is a well-practiced back somersault- which we saw thanks to Pacquiao. Crawford would slaughter Algieri.
All posters should be like you, cslb. Never seen you disrespect another member over a difference of opinion.
That's ok. It's not the first time someone has called me an "idiot" for making a prediction that goes against theirs, only for me to be proven correct after the fact. Heck 10 years worth of posts, I could probably bump a few of them.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and someone having a different opinion doesn't bother me at all. That's why I am on here to get different opinions. However, some of these keyboard warriors get to me when they start calling names. I try not to get in a spitting contest with them but it's hard.
Alright, not sure what you're referring to. I never called you an idiot, I try to be respectful to all posters. I only took issue with you suggesting that join date is how we should interpret who knows most about boxing or has been following the sport the longest.
"If you knew anything about boxing you would know this is big missmatch, Crawford has P4P future Algieri has jurneyman future...now bye dont have time for troll." That was a post by Filnme - which basically suggests I'm an idiot or dont know anything about boxing because I pick Algieri. I merely pointed out that I boxed for over 10 years, followed the sport for near 20 years, coached and the fact that I have been in this boxing forum for 10 years alone shows that I must at least know about boxing, which would contradict his original statement. Of course you quoted my quote to him and took it out of context.
How did I take it out of context? "Really, if I know anything about boxing? For one look at my join date on this forum, I've been following boxing a lot longer than you." That's a direct quote... I don't think there is necessarily any correlation with when you joined a boxing forum and when you started following boxing. My grandpa who died 10 years ago at the age of 88, RIP, followed boxing for 70 years. He also never used the internet once in his life. But if he were still alive today and I somehow coaxed him into dusting off his windows '95 desktop and joining this forum within the last month then for some convoluted reason you would have the right to assert that you have been following boxing for longer than him because you joined in 2005? It's just a silly bit of logic.
