Do you think Areola is a legitimate Heavyweight? Also do you think he will be WBC Heavyweight Champion? Or will he get exposed against Stiverne again? Oh btw he hates Women's Boxing so what do you think about that? It was funny when Kaliesha West owned him.

He's not a journeyman but he's not a genuine top contender either. Every time he has stepped up to face a world class heavyweight he has lost. His best win is either Chazz Witherspoon or Seth Mitchell both who are not even close to being a top 10 heavyweights.

Arreola may not even be the best US heavyweight. He's tough and entertaining but he seems to be a good domestic level heavy with a good promoter who has convinced a sanctioning body to bend over backwards for him and not much more.

Unless something corrupt happens he will not become WBC champion. Stiverne beat him worse than anyone else did and I can't see how Arreola can beat Stiverne.

Some people need to re-look at the meaning of the word journeyman on this site.

Is their rematch a done deal? If Chris had improved his boxing skills in the last 5
years hed be legit. Id have to agree between journeyman and contender. He wasnt
ready for Vitali, and has been unimpressive since. I was surprised when he got knocked down and hurt against Stiverne. Arreola would surely need a different gameplan this time around, I don't know if he can stop Stiverne, who seems to have a sturdy chin. I would lean towards Arreola having the power to stop Stiverne, but not being able
to load up and land flush. Ive followed Chris for years and always root for him. He could catch Wlad slipping in a year or two, you never know.

Why don't you enjoy Women's Boxing? They are true to their craft. Also Women's MMA is doing very well. Look at Ronda Rousey.

    Arreola is legit, but limited.

Much like Wilder, Mitchell, Boystov, Pulev, Arreola has a few excellent tools, but he is an incomplete fighter, and when his opponent can focus on a weakness, they can beat him comfortably in many cases.

He can win a title if someone like Adamek(ya I know, already beat him) or Fury get a title.

He has a punchers chance vs anybody with a dent in their chin. Including Wlad. But if a guy can establish the jab and stick to a plan, they can beat him outside fairly easily.....even someone like Dimitrenko who has a soft beard could beat him if he could work the 1-2 effectively.:think

Contender/gatekeeper type with good punchingpower and a sloppy defence.

Might be the next WBC beltholder but if he does win won't hold it for long.

Probably past his best but capable of beating Stiverne. Capable of upsetting Fury and other contenders as well. Alot depends on his conditioning.

I don't get delusional Arreola fans, I really don't. :huh

What in the first fight makes you think Arreola can win the rematch? Was it the way he went down, how he was comprehensively out boxed, even beaten on the inside by the smaller Stiverne.

What makes you think Arreola will show up in shape this time? He was one win away from a title shot and showed up in worst shape than he has in over 2 years. Even if he shows up in good shape so could Stiverne who showed up the heaviest he's been in the last 4 years. Yep Arreola got his ass kicked by an out of shape Stiverne, imagine what an in shape Stiverne would do to Arreola.

Arreola has never beaten any contenders. I'd favour Fury, Chisora, Helenius, Povetkin, Pulev and many others over him.

Just much prefere mens boxing, womens boxing is certainly something I would't go out of my way to watch ussually. I do not think the skill level or excitement is up to the mens standard... Nothing against it per se.

Ronda rousey is a beast, watched UFC 168 and as always was very impressed.

arreola basically one of these guys who can hit hard for a few rounds, very hard.

    and that's it.

perfect opponent for a k2 title defence, but not a valid opponent for a title defence in a decent era.
