No he is not a journeyman, not even close to that category. He is a top 20 fighter in his heavyweight era.

He's a solid contender. Not a top 3 caliber guy, but a respectable opponent. Better than journeyman status, but not "you must defend against this guy or else you're ducking" level.

Not fair to compare them. Just look at the challnges Chisora has taken in undefeated Helenius, undefeated Fury, Williams, ***ton, was due to fight W Klitschko, fought V Klitschko, D Haye all in far fewer fights and travelled when needed

He sure is. And Stivierne beats him again. But, he is entertaining and he leaves it all in the ring.

Arreola would knock Wilder's arse out cold easily. I suspect that Arreola will knock Stiverne out in their rematch and become the first Hispanic heavyweight champion ever...........

I think it's safe to say after last nights performance that Arreola is nothing but a domestic level heavy or gate keeper. He'll look good against journeymen or untested prospects but any decent heavyweight will beat him as has been proven time and again.

Can we finally end the charade that Arreola is a top 10 fighter when he in reality he never has been and never will be. Any top 10 heavy would beat him as I've stated previously in this thread.

Arreola is done, he was only ever hype.

Does anybody think the undefeated Arreola, that fought McCline, and went on to fight Vitali, would have beaten Stiverne? Was it the punishment he took from Adamek, or the problems with his hands, that caused his decline? I thought he looked awesome, before he fought for the title. I could never picture him getting stopped in 6, until today.

Definitely not a journeyman, he's a level above that in my opinion. No he's not special, different or great but he isn't a bad or terrible either. At this point in his career he's better off retired though, this is his very first stoppage and more will follow if he continues since he will clearly be on the downside both physically and mentally in the deadliest sport featuring the deadliest/heaviest division. There's nothing else out there for him after this anyway and I definitely don't want to see him drop to the likes of Wilder, Fury, Chisora...etc

I would pick the undefeated Arreola from the Vitali fight to destroy Stiverne. It won't be easy but it won't be impossible either considering Arreola had Stiverne hurt good in the 3rd anyway. I believe his downfall came from all the beatings he took and the constant rise and drop in weight, these things always leave marks.

Arreola looked awesome beating journeymen, anyone can look like a world beater if your opposition is poor enough.

No version of Arreola we have seen would have ever beaten Stiverne. What could he do differently? He can only fight one way and it's a style that suits Stiverne. He'll always be there to be hit and always walk into Stiverne's right hand.

He's a disgrace, how could he come to the most Important fight of his life in such bad shape. This attitude to training will result in him throwing away his talent and ending up as a journeyman.:patsch:good
