At least he showed up to fight. unlike kingpin and briggs and that other euro bum. I know it was a disgrace the way he showed up but he is atop ten heavy and that is active. If thats not good enough for you then **** off and dont watch boxing. Your just hating on him. If every top 30 guy was like him we would have a great HWD. At least he's hungry and will earn a title shot Wlad. Maybe not from fighitng top guys but at least he is active and fighting.
Chris is a warrior and is got in the 230's and is trying you u ***** about something he did two years ago. Move on man

He lost the weight and is working hard and staying active and comes to fight, unlike many fighters today. Thats a plus to me!

And he still put up a fight with Vitali.

Exactly. Arreola has looked good recently and lost some weight.

Thats it :good people just critised Arreola for fighting bums. Whoo said that the other fighters would like to fight Arreola? I sure havent heard anything. It is not up to Arreola. he can only fight who is in front of him.

    Hehe, I meant Contender ;)

You know what? If you want to do that. Then do it. I will not stand in your way. Just do what makes you happy and dont listen to what other people saying.

    :blabla

Yeah, he's really improving the division fighting Abell, Releford and Aguilera (who despite his record is actually WORSE than Abell and Releford). Even the win over Ahunanya doesn't deserve any credit, as Friday has pretty much bitched out and given up on the sport as anything other than a way to bilk a few dollars for running.

He can only box against guys that are in front of him.

Who says that the other Top 30 guys in the HW divison wants a piece of Arreola?
They sure arent fighting as much as he is, and when they are fighting they just fight bums.

    1-0 to Arreola

Arreola has pride. Unlike Haye or many others.

    What do you mean?

I meant that he could only box AGAINST guys that are in the same ring as him. :D

**** Haye. This has nothing to do with Haye. Why even bring him up?

Haye and Arreola are both jokes, for different reasons.

Atleast he is getting healthier, he looked ridiculous in the vitali fight rightfully took a beatdown and cried, but instead of getting buckets of ben and jerry and kfc the guy is actually trying again I can only support him in that and hopefully he puts up a better fight with wladimir soon.

    Very few people.

    Since you asked:

Adamek (although he's doomed against Klitschko)
    Chambers
    Thompson
    Helenius
possibly Boytsov if he can get things going
    possibly Perez
    possibly Mitchell
possibly Jennings (although it's very early to tell)
probably Dinu (again early - but I have a good feeling about him)
    possibly Pala
    maybe Fury

    ...that's about it, really.

    Povetkin has become a joke.
Solis was always a joke (as a pro)
    Arreola is a complete joke.
    Haye is an awful joke.
    Stiverne is a joke.
    Peter is done.
Holyfield, Mormeck, Rahman, and the other old-timer hangers-on are beyond done.

Virtually none of the prospects coming up who weren't named above (I may have missed like one or two) are worth a damn.

It's a bad division. Cristobal Arreola isn't going to save it by taking on five soft touches a year.

    Good take Rooster.:good

He should be no more than 225 IMO, and fighting the Rossy's and Witherspoons if he's gonna fight B level or below. When he takes two B level guys in a row, and comes down to 225 I'll consider him title worthy again, not before.

He does have excellent raw talent, and an iron grill, and an excellent workrate, even as a fatass. He doesn't need to keep proving he can wipe out all the C class fighters out there anymore.:-(

    Chambers and Thompson arent jokes?

I mean come on? They are both out of shape and are very inactive. Chambers performance against Wladimir was a joke.
Helenius just fight washed up old former champions. Plus he is a Sauerland boxer. Bad feelings about that.

Boystov is a big big joke. He have just fought bums. Even worse bums than Arreola. I know he got a hand injury,. But still very inactive.

How is Tony Thompson out of shape? :huh Do you even know who he is?

His body fat for a man his age (or hell, for a present day heavyweight period) is extremely low. He's a beanpole.

Chambers skews toward endomorphic but he's never been half the disgrace Arreola is. He boxed as well as could be expected given the size disadvantage against Wlad (and the fact that he isn't a puncher by trade). Eddie should be a cruiserweight. He is still a pretty decent heavyweight.

    Both would absolutely beat Arreola.
