He is a Mexican American and he resides in California. I agree that he is a good prospect. He rings pressure and power. He can give any heavyweight a hellish night as he is very difficult for opponents to keep him off of them. :smoke:smoke

If he throws more then 5 punches a round then yes, since Fat Eddie was able to not really lose to the number 1 contender in the world, then yeah I can see him winning something in that weakass division.

I'd like to see him in with Kevin Johnson, Joe Mesi, Chazz Witherspoon or someone like Eddie Chambers.

I think Chambers is light years ahead of Arreola.

Arreola is nothing to get excited about, from what I've seen. He won't go very far once he starts fighting known names.

My sentiments exactly, IMO Arreola takes a back seat to the majority of the elite American contenders of the 90s and the 80s and the 70s.....get the drift?

He just strikes me as a perennial FNF contender. Not as a future HW Champion.

He's like Povetkin.. Workrate etc. He can't beat Wlad or Peter (not that Peter is great, but he can punch and Arreola is open). Chagaev, Povetkin, Ibragimov would be close fights.
