before the fight this weekend me and kirk were talking and he had said that he didnt think he had ever seen him fight before....i told him that at this day and age, he can very well be a world champ.....he dont think so though, after his performance he still didnt think so...but i disagree....

    what do ya'll think...

i also said that he might have a shot at klitschko if he can find a way to get passed that jab and land about 2 shots before the famous wlad clinch.....

Short time belt holder maybe, perhaps, I don't think he has enough quality about him to be the best of the best. He won't beat Wlad, no chance

He could probably have beaten Valuev when he was WBA champion. Not sure about now though. I think Chagaev beats him in a good, competitive fight. Peter would probably knock him out and Klitschko is in another league.

I like him though and I hope he does well. It's about time we had a heavyweight who brings a high paced fight.

If he does pick up a title somewhere along the line, I'd like to see him face Haye. That would be a great fight.

you see, that's what i dont get....

how can you easily predict against a guy with power, great stamina, and a solid chin....

i love wlad, but i also see his defects and aside from that jab and clinch ****, he isn't a complete fighter at all...he's actually lost some steps since his losses, and most of them being mental.....

but i guess we'll just have to wait and see...

I agree wlad would have him out in 3 if not sooner. ray austin didnt make it through 2. i dont think chris will be a champ unless he improves on his boxing skills and gets more fit

Arreola seems willing and able to walk through fire to land his big shots. I think he is capable of beating Peter right now due his superior boxing and ability to take Peter's best shot. He may be able to beat Chagaev, but Chag is a terrific counterpuncher and would give him fits. There is no way he beats Wlad right now. Wlad's jab and superior footwork would keep him at distance.

Since last Saturday I became a Chris Arreola's believer and fan... I think he has what it takes... I'll even dare to say that RIGHT NOW he is the best US HW prospect out there...

I think that he can pick up a title but I agree he has no chance of beating Wlad. Too sloppy, Wlad would jab his face off and wipe his ass with it.

I definetly think it's an interesting fight, as Arreola is good on the inside which is probably Wlad's weakest point. I'm just no sure he can be effective on the inside against Klitschko spoiling tactics. I don't think Arreola stands a chance on the outside. Wlad's too big and would outjab him all night. It really depends on how well Arreola can fight on the inside. If he can do it well, he has a good chance. I've just never seen him do it that well though.

Agreed, Wlad has been tremendously affected mentally by his losses.

I made a thread saying how I think Arreola and Haye should fight, And I think that...... Haye... se jodio con ese mexicano! lol...Honestly.. I think Arreola starches David Haye. I'm not saying it wouldn't be a good fight because I think it would be awesome for how long it lasted. Arreola is RUGGED AS ****. He is the definition of an all out brawler, but don't let his lack of pretty boxing aesthetics fool you, IMO this beast can FIGHT. How does David Haye do with a 250lb maniac pushing and swinging all over him? If Haye doesn't land, He will go nighty night.
