    No, never.

He is so slow, has no defense. Arreola is a bottom feeder, fighting chumps.

I don't care that Chazz Witherspoon was undefeated, he had a padded record. I have seen him before, he is a very poor HW who is going no where.Witherspoon is about the level of Mike Marrone. Arreola needs to fight a real HW for once to prove something. Yeah, he can KO fighters no where near world level and don't belong any where near, but he hasnt fought one real class opponent.

He is taking the Shannon Briggs and Evander Holyfeild (recent) routs to World title fights, fighting a lot of chumps and expecting a title shot. Briggs landed a 12 round hail merry shot and got lucky, but both were badly exposed quick when they had to acctually fight a World Class fighter.

Both totally got their asses outboxed, losing every round against Sultan. They couldn't even touch Sultan, and was outclassed, it was pitiful. The same will happen to Chris if he wants a fight against Sultan, and fight a real fighter just once. Arreola is too way ****ing slow and ponderous, he couldn't land anything against Sultan and would be completely embarressed. I am sure.

I would have thought no way Arreola becomes champ a couple years ago, but I'm not so convinced he couldn't pull it off now. He's aggressive, punches with good volume and looks like he has a good beard.

I am an Ibragimov fan, but I think Arreola has the style to beat him, that actually is a potential opponent that came to mind. The reason is that Ibragimov in his Jeff Mayweather incarnation is a fighter that doesn't deal well with aggression. That would be a hell of a fight, but I think Arreola's youth could take it.

His progression will be interesting to follow.

You under rate Peter badly, He did outbox james toney for christ sakes! There is no way in hell he takes peter's best shots and walks thru them:-( Chris has superior boxing skills??? Peter is not exactly roy jones in the ring but he is a better boxer than chris IMO. Watch the oleg fight for a example,,,, Peter had nice head movement and was ducking shots,,, chris does none of that he just comes bullrushing in swinging for the fences.

I like Arreola but his style is defined by walking in through oppposing fighter's punches to land his own & that **** will def. not work vs. Wladimir. He actually seemed a bit troubled by Witherspoon's jab so imagine how he'll feel taking a few of Klitschko's with a right hand peppered in for good measure.

I too believe Chris is the best American Heavyweight prospect but he fights a bit too flat footed & he doesn't use the jab to set up the power punches, instead he just throws bombs while coming in.

I also don't agree with those claiming he has a great chin. He might have a chin of iron but let's wait and see him take a few big shots from a known power puncher first before declaring his chin is granite.

I agree that Peter is a better skilled boxer than Arreola at this point.

People need to get off of Arreola's build. He has a subcutaneous layer of fat, like a lot of Mexican fighters. Deal with it. To the best of my knowledge, his stamina is fine. He went full throttle for 8 against Tann without tiring out, and 7 against Wills without tiring out. He does need to face an opponent with a better chin for more rounds so we can see if his stamina will really hold up, but Tua should be more than sufficient to provide that test.

I doubt he beats Wlad (his defense is way too leaky to beat someone with a sharp disciplined jab), but he'd have a decent chance against Peter and possibly Chagaev (although I have yet to see how he'll handle a decent southpaw).

Wlad would kill him, you can't miss something that ****ing slow! It would be cruel to make this fight.

Let me know when Arreola finally fights a real opponent. Then start some hype.

Get the **** out of here. Style to beat Sultan: slow as **** and crude? He wouldn't touch Sultan and would be badly outboxed, I would bet you anything if you like ( slow vs quick, crude vs great amatuer ). Arreola would get hit by counter shots all night, with his slow ass following Sultan. He is not going to outbox Sultan period, and it is extremely hard to KO Sultan if Klitschko can't even do it.

Which is why Sultan kicked Ray Austin's ass. Oh wait....
