In today's HW division, of course he can become a beltholder. Whether he can become THE champion, however, is far more debtable.
I would give him decent to good odds against everyone but Wlad. Wlad would utterly destroy him because Arreola eats too many shots to get his off. And since Wlad is pretty damn accurate and powerful, plus his techniques of footwork and clinches to avoid inside fighting, and this would be a legal murder. That is only fight where I think Arreola has zero chance whatsoever.
i understand why ya'll would think wlad would beat chris, but wlad himself doesn't even throw that much to keep chris off of him...... lets say chris can take his shot just to give about 3 of his.....do ya'll think he would have a chance then ???
If Arreola lands a shot on Wlad it's over. This is the Millenium Heavyweight's here, it's defo not all about skillset anymore. If Wlad lands his right hand it's over. ect.... That said, i think it's time for Wlad to go night night again. [That's if Tim don't get him first]
you see,i can definately see wlad winning if he lands alot of right hands....but he hardly throws them anymore....IMO, he is too tense with his jab, and even though it's like a jack hammer, if arreola can dip it, get inside and land before the clinch, he has a big chance......
I agree bro, the first guy to land will win. Wlad sometimes look's like a deer in the headlight's when he is rushed or tagged early. [hence his clinching] I'd like to see him get tagged again, just to see if he truly can fight out of danger, like he showed Vs. Peter. [or was that a fluke]
oh man, i loved the peter fight....but chris is alot more mobile than peter and quicker with his hands too......
This guy doesn't beat Wlad. He's to short to get on the inside, and though he's very strong...He isn't strong enough to walk through a WLAD jab. You all must have short term memory loss because the guy he was fighting...After the fight he said the dude had a devistating jab. If he thought witherspoon had an "Oh ****" jab I do believe...Wlad will have a *OMFG dude hit me with a sledgehammer!!!!* kind of jab. I don't see where you guys get he's been toned down after losing those fights. He came right back, he's been boxing better, has a better mentality, in awesome shape, works off the jab, takes his time, and knocks most his opponents out. The only thing that's different is he's more cautious, BUT that is a good thing in his case because he's more about reality. People on here say Lennow Lewis is one of the best of all time...Yet he got knocked out by 2 guys whom weren't even huge stars at the time! Wlad is steps above where Lewis was at, and realizes HE CAN be knocked out. He has the skills/ power/ speed to be able to be cautious, take his time, but yet...Knock 95% of his opponents out.
Chill bro.. I'm just saying if Wlad get's tagged it's light's out. :deal [I'm not saying he will or is...Just saying U can't train Chin]
bro, his height is the perfect weapon to get him on the inside cause he's already half way there :deal :deal :deal
I like Chris and yes he could win a belt especially at HW because he'll always have a puncher's chance. Arreola, Chambers and Thompson are the best American HW.
