“Fury fights Sefer and Charr and AJ only fights the best” - Eddie Hearn last week.

Hearn is the reason AJ Fury didn't get made

AJ's own people have outed him

Fury fought a stiff for his comeback fight and a stiff to secure Usyk

AJ loses a sparing match and fights a dead body

Last fat mexican didnt go well for AJ but this is scraping the barrel.
I feel at heavy they keep recycling the same easy fights.
Thsts why a guy like Chisora has a lpt of good fighters on his resume.
Arreola is also one of those type of heavies that keeps getting brought up whenever someone needs an easy win.

Can't blame him for wanting to take an easier fight after losing twice against Usyk, but a fight against a younger guy like Wallin would've been preferable

Joshua is entitled to a tickover rebuild type fight after his two losses on the trot to Usyk and no doubt a couple of more of these type fights before going after a Title fight once more, both Hearn and Dazn from a simple business point would prefer it to go this way rather than a massive earner with a Fury fight and a very possible fourth loss in six fights. Where would Joshua with his 100 million Dazn contract go if he suffered another defeat this time to Fury ? Despite multiple threads stating Fury’s at fault the latest we’re hearing today is that Joshua despite supposedly agreeing to everything in the contract offer from Fury that Joshua is now not happy that should he beat Fury the rematch would be split down the middle at 50/50. This is from the same man who awarded himself A side status for years and should you beat him the enforced rematch would be the same 80/20 in his favour which has been well documented over the years ! The entitled Duckua and Hearn are realising now that they no longer have a strangle hold on the Heavyweight division and they do not like it one bit !

No matter what your opinion on the old era hw is, one cant argue that they had 3 times the balls current fighters have.

I think you'd have to go back to 2016 to when he fought Molina to find a worse opponent if this happens.

While Joshua is coming off two losses this isn't an acceptable opponent for someone of Joshua's level. Why not rematch Whyte, why not fight Zhang or Bakole? It's not like it's short notice it's 11 weeks away. There must be better options than Arreola, even Wilder the cherry picker is fighting a better opponent in Helenius.

With Fury saying he's fighting Charr, Wilder facing Helenius and now Joshua maybe facing Arreola this has to be a low point for heavyweight boxing. What's next Usyk announcing he's facing Stiverne!

Dave Allen should have stuck around. Could have actually got the AJ fight now.

Going by his fight with Ruiz, 00s Arreola would knock the stuffing out of Dosh.

Even Chris Arreola is better than Manuel Charr.

Considering AJ's coming off two losses and needs a confidence-builder, Arreola is an acceptable opponent for Joshua.

But I would prefer AJ fight Zhang.
