If he isn't going to take boxing seriously then we as fans are not going to take him seriously. He makes the sport look bad when he turns up in Heavyweight title fights looking like Homer Simpson so i am going to treat him like the joke he is.

Why should he be commended just because he fights decent opposition?, when he can't even make said fights competitive because of his awful physical condition.

Shouldn't any boxer worth his salt be doing that anyway?... as well as turning up in the best possible shape (which Arreola is clearly not in).

 

Arreola so fat that when he goes to an all you can eat buffet they have to install speed bumps, *****.

 

Considering the state of the heavyweight division, I think Cris has what it take to be a legitimate top 10 fighter. I've heard him talk about getting in shape for years, but this is the first time I haven't also heard of him out and about during training camp. He was a really good amatuer and there is no reason to think he can't develop as a pro.
