    Absolute Hype.
The guy is a KO waiting to happen.
Just watch him against Travis Walker especially the first round.
I have never seen a boxer so slow and static.
    The guy is utter ****.
He has a good chin and that is it.
And for the record Wlad takes him out in the first round.
If he can be bothered to use his right arm.
David Haye would look like ****ing speedy Gonzales agianst this guy.

That's why he will get KO'd once he gets a title shot and it looks like it will be very soon against Vitali.

It's his ko's that got people talking. It's his diet and physical state that make people turn the other way. Like most people have said he just isn't taking this opportunity that he has serious.

I really want to see him dedicate himself and make a run. He's getting fatter and fatter at a young age. So I can only guess with age he'll become a butterbean impersonator.

He sucks!!! He doesn't have the boxing pedigree of a lot of the other fighters in the divsion. But Haye vs him would b good 2 c.

I agree to an extent. I really enjoy watching him but I think it's only a matter of time until he's found out. That said, he enjoys a lot of popularity- here are some reasons:

    He's popular because:
1- He's got Mexican heritage. They've never had a HW champ so no pressure there!
    2- He's exciting to watch.
3- He's a normal, down to earth guy.

He deserves the hype considering these factors, IMO.

Nobody really knows at this point how far Arreola wil make it, but i wouldnt be too optimistic about him getthing his weight under control. Chances are very small that Arreola ever comes in at a good weight. Look at Peter. He had one fight with an ok weight vs Wlad, and then ballooned again.

He's not hype fo'sure... He wouldn't have won all these last heavyweight bouts with no focus, boxing know-how and effective aggressivity. OK, he's awful to watch but he's a tough preposition for most and I dare to believe both Klitschkos would fight on the back foot to see if this guy would tire or not...

Chris Arreola has some serious skills and some serious power in both hands. He puts combinations together nicely and has a fighters mentality. Watch out Wlad! Wlad does not like power and pressure and Arreola is tops in these two categories.

    Are you for real.?
What skills are these exactly. Apart from the obvious moves as fast as paint drying and is as static as a turd.
Ive seen monkeys with more ability than this guy.

Yep but if he stays at 255lbs, which he seems to be doing, he'll be a sitting duck for Wlad's artillery and will be destroyed.

The man is obviously very talented and has the right mindset (INSIDE the ring), but he needs to lose 20 pounds and he needs to lose it bad.

To be fair, he did look to handle the weight fairly well against McCline, but that was only 4 rounds against a 38 year old, out of shape boxer who was formally retired.

I agree as a Wlad fan, that Arreola could give Wlad some serious trouble. I like Arreola, I think he is going to be a champion eventually.

Hype, the sad thing is there isn't any other American prospect so they HAVE to hype this fat boy.

A mix of both, I think Arreola can do good things for the HW division, but the next Wladimir Klitschko he is not, he'll be a top contender who can win a HW belt but that's it.
