Can you verify what point you're defending and asking us to respond to? I'm confused at this point.

You're not seriously thinking of placing adamek in the company of Spinks, Moorer or Evander are you ?

Dude, you say nothing. You just ask questions. Every freaking post of yours in this thread was a question. I ask you for one answer, you ignore me and ask me more questions.

If you think Bob Dunlap and Heinz Neuhaus and Johnny Williams and Young Jack Johnson and every heavyweight contender of that decade would beat Arreola, good for you.

But you clearly don't follow the sport. And you don't respond to questions. And you don't seem to know how to engage in an actual conversation. So I'm done with you.

Nobody's placing Adamek in the company of Spinks. But Adamek is as good or better than many of the light heavys who floated up and down and got ranked at heavy for a while in the 1950s.

Adamek was a light heavy and cruiserweight champ. And was a real top 10 heavyweight contender as well.

Bob Dunlap got as high as number-four in the 1950s at heavy. Would you pick him over Arreola or Adamek?

But only the elite really rose to the top like Ezzard Charles and Archie Moore who were all time greats. Adamek never best Anone of note at heavyweight with the exception of Arreola or Chambers, neither of which are thought of as being much by most

You think Ezzard Charles and Archie Moore were the only former light heavys who got ranked at heavyweight in the 1950s?

Then you don't know what you're talking about, either.

I might place him on par with a Don C0ckell who in fairness was ranked for a while. So I'll give you that. But seriously who did Adamek beat prior to Arreola? His heavyweight record is filled with guys who were either positively ancient or positively mediocre.

Nice try at jumping on a " gotcha " moment, but that's not what I said and you know I didn't.. I said only the elite of those guys rose to the top . Quote me as I actually say things or you'll get called on it every time.

Feel free to read my prior posts in this very thread before attemping to start straw man arguments. I couldn't have said anything farther from the truth. You're a better poster than that.

Ironic considering you just failed to use said quote feature when making asinine accusations towards me, even though it undoubtedly would have proved your point immediately.

Even if the heavyweight division of the 1950s was loaded with former light heavys who breached the rankings, Arreola LOST to the only halfway decent one he faced, so I don't see how that helps his case.. Guys like Travis walker, Chazz Wotherspoon and Seth Mitchel had nice looking records on paper but were otherwise journeyman in ability.. I'm not one of these haters who thinks that EVERYONE in the millennium era was garbage, as I admit we've had some decent talent, but Chris Arreola, apart from being an exciting club fighter with power and toughness is no special talent. He might have beaten some 1950s fringe guys who were ranked on a month to month basis, but not the guys proposed in the opening thread statement.

What accusations ? You responded to me first with sarcasm and I asked you a question about who you were referring too.

Bob Dunlap was a top four heavyweight in the decade. Don C0ckell was number two in the decade. That's considered a top contender. Think either of them beats Adamek or Arrreola?

    I certainly don't.

I mentioned DC a few posts ago. And I don't know if adamek would have beaten him or not. Tomasz is hard to guage because he beat nobody... Except Arreola...
