One of the best responses to a "boxerlove" thread I've ever seen

What does fighting Wilder gain Arreola?
NOTHING, so he doesn't care to face DW. Doesn't imply he's "ducking" DW.

As Chris told Mitchell - you're stepping up to me. Of course CA destroyed SM in less than 1 round. Likewise Chris would be stepping down to DW.

CA needs to fight a legit ranked fighter to try to position himself into a big money bout. So far Wilder's best wins to date are still vs a shot Liak and has been who never was Harrison. But they were names to pad his record which is filled with wins over bartenders, pt cabbies, and dish washers :yep

Wilder gains nothing by fighting Arreola. No money in it, no reason.

it does seem that he doesn't want to even consider the fight. why? i don't know.

it's not like he's way above him in the division or anything. Wilder has fought complete ****, for sure. but who exactly has Chris beat for him to be above such a fight?

he wants to get another title shot that he hasn't earned, or deserves. so Wilder makes sense at this time. he hasn't got anyone else on the horizon has he?

    make the fight.

Arreola would knock Wilder out within 3 rounds... More than likely he'd have Wilder out of there in rd 1.

Mitchell at least stepped up and fought Banks twice, and won after a KO loss to the guy, then had the stones to get in there against Arreola.....even with no amateur background and coming into the sport late.

Remind us, WHO has Wilder stepped up and fought???? Nobody! He's making a joke of his amateur credentials facing these cans fight after fight for 7 years.

I have more respect for Mitchell than I do Wilder. Arreola is trying to get a fight with Stiverne, however, if Arreola were to fight Wilder he would knock Wilder out cold. Arreola took Mitchell's best show and did not blink.........Wilder knows to stay away from Arreola.................

Arreola is basically guaranteed a title shot where he will not only fight for a belt but make more money than if he fights Wilder who Arreola said brings a 'circus' type atmosphere and he is right. Wilder is in no way shape or form a legit fighter. At all.

I'm surprised CA's not interested in the fight myself.

It would be an interesting fight. Arreola is no world beater, but he's better than virtually everyone Wilder has faced so far imo.

Arreola should fight Wilder, it's a good matchup, there is money in it and it should be for the mandatory position.

Stiverne should fight the winner of Mago vs Perez for the belt.
