He has a little of why "I LOVE BOXING" and why "I HATE BOXING". He is a tought mother****er. I like that. But he also has the lack of discipline that characterize american heavyweights for the last 10 years or so. They are going to have to come with some kind of body fat percentage limit for heavyweights. They make a lot of money they should come to the ring in better shape. They need to work hard like the guys @ lower weights do.

It will be interesting to see if this makes Chris a better fighter. Most people learn more from their losses than their wins.

Agreed. Arreola won me over as a fan with his gutsy performance and his attitude in his post-fight interview. I wish more top level fighters cared as much about losing as this guy does!

Chris has Heart in the ring but NO discapline outside of it. Even in the pre fight video piece on HBO...CA.."**** it, I train hard so I play hard".... what the **** is that. You cannot get to 295 and lose 40 lbs in 6 weeks, still be 15 lbs over your prime weight and think you are going to win. NOT at the top level

Look at the Klitschkos, and even Haye, always in shape and it shows

Exactly. He just got beaten down and that's all there is to it. But he showed great heart and determination, even after getting hit with a shitload of those heavy handed shots. Excellent night of heavyweight boxing, for a change.

That sounds good to me. He does seem like a good guy (the weigh in stunt was fun) but whether it mattered in the end or not, you should be at your biggest fight at your best weight. And that post-fight was embarrassing - how many other fighters would be shredded for blubbering and cursing like that? He may come back a better fighter - I hope he does - but take a breath and pull yourself together.

This is why I can't/don't give him any props whatsoever. Shot of a lifetime and can't even get in shape. His training ethic must be **** looking the way he does.

I refuse to feel sorry for a guy who doesn't dedicate himself 100% to a sport when given the opportunity most fighters would kill for.

Well said. That's how I feel about Arreola.
