Absolutely not. He needs to fight Sam Peter. That would be a fun fight. After Peter loses to Vitali I think that would be a great next fight to determine the #2.

Yep, the Tuaman did **** up. Arreola was made for him. Insiders say that Tua was low-balled by Arreola's promoter, Dan Goossen. Goossen also low-balled several other fighters. Still, Tua should have taken the fight.

Youtube videos??? This is how you base your assessment on Arreola becoming the "next undisputed HW champ", watching Youtube videos?

That's the problem with too many people on this forum. They watch some ****ing Youtube video and suddenly they have in dept knowledge of a fighters potential, or lack thereof. Youtube is okay for a quick overview but not a well rounded perspective.

I had this same argument with a knucklehead (I think it was Scumsfield or Widow Faker) on this forum a while back. He said any of the top heavyweights today would handedly beat Tony Tucker. I disagreed. I asked him what do you know about Tony Tucker. He said enough from watching Youtube videos. People get real!

The vast majority of members on this forum don't know of or have never seen any full length tape/dvd of boxers like Tony Tucker. Other than seeing Mike Tyson fight Tucker on ESPN Classics, they have very little knowledge of Tucker and other fighters. Yet these same people claim any Y2K fighter (Klitschko, Peter, Byrd, etc.) would easily defeat fighters they've only seen on a 5 minute Youtube video. Stop the madness.

If you cant see a fight live then the next best thing is to watch several full length recorded fights of the boxer in question. You're cheating yourself by watching Youtube videos. Spend a little time and money and get dvds of fighters. Stop watching Youtube.

I agree with you on most points ..i,ve seen Tony Tucker fights in the 80,s and he certainly was one of the best heavies in the period 1987-1990 ..btw youtube comes in handy if you wanna know something about certain boxers don,t you think ?

Unless you're talking about Haye we shouldn't even mention the words undisputed heavyweight champ.

    I agree

Tony TNT Tucker gets vastly underated on here, when he was in his prime he had a solid chin went 12 rounds with tyson and gave lewis a hard fight when he was actualy flored for the first time in his career he was 49-1 when he fought lewis :deal and had only been the distance 5 times, thats 5 times in 50 fights up to the Lewis fight.

Tucker would be a top fighter today as he was in the late 80 and 90's the only problem for him was mike tyson and lennox lewis was a bit better then he was.:good still 2 losses to 2 atg on points in 51 fights isnt to bad because if wlad had the same fights as tucker he would have to ko defeats to lewis and tyson.

From what I heard, he was offered mid-6 figures, which is more than he has made from a fight in a long time. Lowball or not, the man needs money, and he's not making much by not fighting at all.

If Arreola hand speed wasn't so ordinary, I would be a bigger believer of him becoming undisputed champ.

About the Tua fight, he is probably demanding at least a million to fight Arreola. This fight is tough and dangerous for both, but would do wonders for the winner.

What Tua is not getting is that he is losing time continuouslly, a fight is better than no fight at all, he could have fought Brewster and others last year, now Arreola, all good fights, he continues to price himself out every time when he does not have better options, completelly dumb strategy, why not retire already then?

I really like the guy. He wants to fight and has spirit. I think that he will pick up a belt but that's about it... I don't think he can beat Peter or Wlad.

What's funny is you want Arreola to prove himself against guys that the TOP fighters didn't prove themselves against.

How many of them beat Boswell, Tua, or Haye. NONE OF THEM.

Who the **** has Povetkin, Valuev, Chaegeav, or the like beat that is light years better than who Arreola has beat. They have one or two wins a best over good fighters than Chris does.

Ibragimov sucks, and his retirement would do the boxing public justice if he never stepped into and stunk up a ring again.
