Arreola looks like a good fighter, but he can't beat Vlad, Valouev, Vitali, povetkin, Dimitrenko, etc.

What i like about the still very raw Arreola is that he is willing to learn and he is fearless.. He is indeed a very good B level club fighter, but he is going to improve and when that happens, the Mike Tyson type of fighters sometimes emerge, Hard puncher that when does learn a few more tricks may escalate to really being a somebody.. I always liked him ever since he beat Damien Wills. He is hungry to the point of starving. In a very fat division of content cats... Him, Povetkin , Haye , they have the potential of rescuing the division from where it was 5 years ago.. (lost)

Solis would take Arreola down a notch or two, if they were to fight.

You just proved my point. I'd argue that Wills, Tann, Whitherspoon, and Hayes ain't that far from Chambers, shot-Byrd, Donald and Ahunanya... or even old Ruiz, Virchis and Skelton.. and Levin and Nobles? **** fighters at best.

The only good wins in that grouping are Valuev, Barrett, Chambers, and Lyakhovich.. and NONE of those are even B+ level fighters.

If Peter hangs on to his title, his management will do it's best to keep him out of fights like this. One only has to look at his career to see this. The only time Peter has ever fought quality opposition (Wlad, Toney, Vitali, Mccline) is when he has had no choice. If things go his way expect future title defenses against guys like Tye Fields and Gilbert Martinez

For ****sake, the guy drops a right hammer on a semi-clinch like a drunken slob and people ask if that's a bad trait... This is an art, people, otherwise let's bring all the homies from the Cali Hoods to slug it out with the best pros out there. Oh please.

    IMO

    Wlad knocks him out
    Vitali knocks him out
    Peter knocks him out

    Sultan boxes his ears off

    Chagaev ????
    haye ?????

    Valuev 50/50
    Ruiz 50/50
    Tua 50/50
    Toney 50/50

    he could beat rock
    he could beat thompson
    he could beat brock
    he could beat monte

  14. Wlad out boxes Arreola and very likely would him if they fought. He still needs to face a top ten guy. Chazz Witherspoon was an unproven heavyweight.

for sure. Arrela has heavy hands and a solid chin but he's facing corpses. that doesn't prove he can hang with a top 10 guy.

imo, he's the third best american hw

    1-Thompson
    2-Chambers
    3-Arreola

he needs to fight a live opponent who will fight back and offer some resistance before i can give him some real cred. why not thompson or sultan for his hbo fight?
