Couldn't make it to the states this week......... Luis Tapia his Manager, and Layla Mccarter did the corner......... I am in the UK..... Friday has been weighing high recently, he gave the Salif fight away a few weeks ago.. and at 244, i didn't see Friday honestly having his best night tonight.. we spoke yesterday , he is good but to come from the mid 250's a few weeks ago to 244 yesterday he did great but just not enough time to be where we wanted him.. at least 230.. God Bless.. Many journalists did reckon he'd be stopped by Chris, i knew he wouldn't be stopped.. he never been stopped legit in his whole career........ He renowned for it... Peace folks..

Chris versus who next???? Friday vs who next???

What a shame that a guy as ringwise and with a great chin loses fights he could easily win if only he turned up to whoop someones azzz rather than BOX (survive)with them.

I bet Sammy Peter would give Arreola a good test, and maybe a good thrashing while he's at it.

Bit of a shame Friday didn't come to fight. An arreola ud was always going to be the result. I was hoping just once ahunanya was going to get brave and try and fight back. I hoped he had learnt his lesson from all the fights he has lost for being inactive in the ring. I was praying he would come out of his shell late rounds and get a surprise KO. No such luck.

From the sound of it, Friday has resigned himself to being a professional "opponent".

    Sad. Waste of talent.

Friday apparently hurt Chris in the 3rd round i believe. How bad?

Sad to see Friday losing these fights. The highlights show him looking pretty banged up and very overweight. He looked to be 20-25 pounds heavy, and at his height, that's a load to carry. Apparently, Chris was wobbled in th 3rd. Stayed in last night to see this fight. Sucks that it wasn't televised.

In my opinion more HW's should take the Arreola approach and stay busy! For that matter, all up and comers! Good on him, I hope he gets another shot soon at a top guy, I think he's earned it.

This is good for Chris, getting some rounds in on a durable guy. I didn't expect him to KO Friday , that is about as rare as it gets.

So Chris was hurt in the 3rd and Friday was hurt in the 7th?

How close was either guy to being in serious trouble? :think

The Salif fight was a last minute bout, Friday gave the fight away and weighed in the late 250's , and once again threw no shots.... In 3 weeks he came from 258 to 244 and was very motivated, just needed another week of camp in my opinion... But he is 40 soon, 20 pounds over weight and is coming off 3 losses in a row... We just wait and see how he feels... You know Friday is tough but years sparring with everyone, he often opts to go into that shell and not let those hands go.. Its ok rocking a guy but we did it against Liachovick and Ibragimov, and had Ibragimov on the floor but didn't capitalise.. Thats boxing... Thanks people... Friday is cool and respects the support he gets...... God Bless.. we have been set back worse than this.. lmao.. he always finds his way back into the picture... peace.
