Chris Arreola starts his third run at world title in December

It's an ideal time to make the fight. Haye is reportedly training on the West Coast and probably wants to stage his next fight there. A fight with Arreola would garner recognition in the USA (which is also important for his presumptive film career).

It's a risky fight for both, but Arreola has little to lose. Haye is believed to be a better fighter than Stiverne so losing to Haye wouldn't effect Arreola's status as much as losing to Stiverne. Haye would risk getting KTFO, but that's unlikely given that Arreola seems to have slowed down. A win over a credible opponent like Arreola would put Haye right back into the contender mix.

 

Yeah, he's got the skills and the pop but his lack of mass will be a problem against legit super heavies. That said, he really should be able to handle Arreola pretty easily at this point.
