Chris Arreola vs Arthur Szpilka almost done deal for June 12th

I remember for this last fight his trainer didn't even want the fight televised. That's how out of shape he was.

 

This fight being made tells me Wilder's camp not 100% confident they can beat either guy.
Pretty sad vote of confidence from Wilder's camp if you ask me.
I thought after Wilder beat Stiverne he would at least be able to get in with one of these guy's.

Hopefully the oddsmakers are as enthusiastic as the people picking Arreola, because Szpilka is literally going to box circles around this beached whale.

 

Maybe a coupleof years ago, not now.. Arreola looked almost as fat as Solis, and went life and death with a tomato can in his last outing. Szpilka for all of his frailties is too quick, an skilled for a limited slob like Arreola now. He's going to school him. :deal

 

I dont know how Arreola is doing lately but if hes in slightly decent shape I dont see why he cant win this fight. Szpilka is a hyped fighter with no significant wins whatsoever apart from a 40 year old Adamek who immediately retired after losing to him possibly due to embarrassment.

IMO Wilder cannot improve fighting the Molina types. As a fighter u have to take risks to improve. Szpilka or Arreola would
Provide some type of learning experience.
Of the haymon fighters only Cunningham is left as a valuable opponent.

After Szpilka harpoons the whale we might just see that happen... I like it better that way. Gives Cunningham some time to train/regroup, and maybe get a confidence building win under his belt. That Glazkov fight may haven't been the most exciting, but it was a rough fight for both guys. Cunningham would be better suited let his body heal, and assess his situation.

 

Szpilka moves and that is Chris' kryptonite. That and he will get put on his ass more than likely.

I love the predictions though..same **** every time. "If Chris shows up in shape and motivated"...can someone give an example of this mythical version of Arreola we keep hearing about?

 

I wonder which Burger King Arreola will choose to train at for this fight? Regardless of the outcome of the fight, I'm sure he will promise that he's going to get back in shape and not drink anymore cervesas.
