I really hope this fight is made somewhere down the line as the press conferences would be absolutely epic with the seemingly genuine dislike these two have for each other and it would be one less "hypejob" in the division.

So who would win and how?

Arreola, Haye's chin couldn't withstand his power and he would lose by stoppage.

Haye would likely pick apart a 265+ pound Arreola. If Arreola came in shape, he'd have a much better shot at a KO.

arreola would be favourite right now but he has been down in fights too so i will pick haye by ko as neither have great chins and haye appears to be quicker

Haye will have problems with Arreola. Haye is not a true heavyweight. Once Arreola hits him flush, Haye will be in trouble.

Yup, they both have a lot to prove. Neither of them has faced the best in the division.

It doesn't look like Haye ever will.

Arreola is too suckish, anyone with a modicum of skill will beat him.

Haye is fighting the number 3 heavyweight in his third fight at the weight, having already defeated the then number 1 ranked cruiser in his own backyard.
Should he continue to find excuses not to fight either of the Klitchkos after the Valuev fight, (providing he emerges victorious of course), then your criticisms will be justified. As it is Haye is receiving an awful amount of criticism for 'backing out' of a fight which never got past the negotiation stage, which as i'm sure you know happens all the time.

Way too much talk about Haye. The guy is highly inactive. He has 23 fights and he's 28 years old, only 2 fights at HW, both of them not against top opposition. We'll have to see how he does against Valuev, and then (if he wins), how he does against the muppets Don King sends to the UK for him to defend against.

At this slow pace he won't make it to 30 fights before he retires. I hope he becomes more active should he defeat Valuev.

I think Haye would look bad against Arreola. Haye looks bad against guys that come after him with high workrates, plodding after him all the time, not allowing him to load up his big hands as he crouches in the distance without being pressured.

That way, Mormeck and Fragomeni gave him trouble for a couple of rounds. Granted, he did a great job winning the fights, but I think they left unanswered questions.
