I am rooting for Alex all the way Chef, if he plays good we can avoid spending a draft pick on a QB. Montana, Young, and dare I say Smith?:yep:good:happy

Makes sense from a manager's standpoint. Cristobal gets back on track with another KO. Then perhaps you give him a crafty boxer who will go more rounds. All of a sudden, six months or so after his debacle against Klitschko, Cristobal is back in contention for another big fight/title shot.

Stinks from a fan's perspective. Why am I not suprised names like Tua, Toney and Thompson may not happen. What does suprise me is that HBO would sign off on Rossy as an opponent. They still have very high hopes for their fighter. :yep

Saw the Rossy-Chambers fight and Chambers toyed with him and knocked him around senseless until his eyes were swollen shut. He's a college football player turned boxer who doesn't have much pop and is extremely hittable. Easy fight for Arreola, way too easy for a guy like Cris.

A agree with you. I also have a hard time believing HBO approves Rossy. I expected them to push for Tua or Toney, both would have been terrific fights. Arreola fought the Rossys of the world enough times, he can fight those bums on ESPN, FOX.

While I agree with you on that Thompson might be a little too tough as an opponent fir Arreola right now, Arreola should be able to take on old lions like Toney and Tua. I mean, either Arreola has it or does not have it.
