Fury is very annoyed that Arreola is off the table for now.

Kind of a pointless fight for Sanchez but good for his resume, an experienced and good fighter with experience and big fights behind him, Sanchez should win comfortably by UD...

Let's not forget Sanchez wanted to fight Fury, but the allMighty ducked him.

Man, poor Arreola just will not retire. He's going to take a beating in this fight.

Nice to see Frank Sanchez is staying active.

He's being avoided by the prima donnas like Tyson "Greedy Belly" Fury.

If the Nightmare comes in good shape he can outwork Sanchez and possibly get a late stoppage. Pretty good undercard fight tho.

Sanchez of course, Arreola is 42 and very much now just brought out to pad upcoming fighters records.

Why would Fury fight Sanchez? No resume, no fans, nobody at the moment would give him a shot, coming off of a bad performance. He doesn't bring anything for Fury. It's not really ducking.

Because the other day around, aka like a week ago or so, Fury decided to put a rant on Twitter, and to cry that no one wants to fight him, and that this or that guy was busy, blq, blq and challenge someone to fight him.

Then Frank Sanchez was the first to respond, and say he will gladly took the fight for August/September date.
Bakole, Hunter and Zhang was just some of the other who gladly accepted and challenged Fury.
And of course, they are not Char level, so Fury gone silence since then, and decide to s**** with MMA fighters.

Now as far as why should a HW champion defends his title against Sanchez, it's easy, he is a legit top 10 in most Ranking, top 4 in WBC as well.
A champion should defend the title against the bests available fighters, and the ones that are in their prime/best shape.
Simple as that, and what fans wants to see.

And the best guys outside of the usual suspects are easily Ruiz, Zhang, Hrgovic, Sanchez, so on. Joyce, Makhmudov and Bakole are not bad fights as well.

This seems like it will be a very entertaining fight. Good style matchup. Arreola can test Sanchez's chin. If Frank can stop Arreola impressively, that could position him for a quick title shot or a spot in a final eliminator.

Frank Sanchez is streaking up the WBC ratings and Lenier Pero is doing the same in the WBA's.

One of them could realistically become Cuba's first heavyweight champion, especially if belts start being vacated over the next year.
