Chris Arreola vs. John Ruiz

Ruiz is no longer the fighter that he was once before . . . so I'll say Arreolla by stoppage.

Let it happen . . . I have no problem with it.

 

Ruiz and "boxing skills" should not be mentioned in the same sentence. He had none. That's why he had to hold excessively and fake "low blows" to "win" fights. And his connections with King let him get away with it.

 

Well said! I like Arreola's intensity but he's just too damn fat.....I can't see him being effective late carrying all that flab. I'd almost rather go to the dentist than watch Ruiz fight but the guy does have balls I'll give him that.

 

Would be nice to see that fight, but Don King owns Ruiz 100% and he owns 50% of Valoeuv, so looks like we will see Valouev Vs. Ruiz again.

 

I hope Arreola takes the fight. If he wins by KO the whole boxing world will salute him. If he gets swallowed up and loses a boring SD, well, its a risk he should take to go for the glory of KO'ing Ruiz, who I salute for calling out Arreola....

 

Arreola by early KO...and doing everybody a favor by not having to see Ruiz hold and hold for 36 minutes.

 

Who wins & how?

 

I voted for Arreola by KO but I wouldn't be surprised if Ruiz got a bogus decision since Don King has a way with judges.

 

That would be the next logical step up for Chris, and I wish the fight would be made. Too bad Arreola is a fat slob, because , at least he's exciting to watch.

normally ruiz in ud, but if arreola is hopefully in normal shape(and not his standard shape) than he can and, i hope, will win

 

I know nobody here like Ruiz but he has gone up against some heavy hitters and he has a damn good chin for a huggy bear. He also has better boxing skills than tubby.

I think Arreola might be able to be the second man to knockout Ruiz. I do think it would take him 4-6 rounds though not 19 seconds like the Tuaman. Still it would be interesting to see how Arreola handles the dirty boxing style of Ruiz.

 

Ruiz the guy is like a bad fart, he hangs around and causes an upset. I know ruiz is a really, really ugly fighter but Arreola has shown me nothing that makes me put any confidence in him.
