Round 4

Vicious exchanges, and Lopez actually catches Molina with a lead left that snaps his head back. Molina is still landing the harder, faster, cleaner and more plentiful punches. Lopez isn't scared, however - and is hell bent on making it a brawl now. Molina blocks some shots and lands precise jabs through the gloves. Lopez is pushing forward and tying up. Molina throws a high jab at his face and then drives him back with a right cross to the gut. Lead left to the body by Lopez, lunging and not very hard. He winds up just leaned up against Molina's trunks before getting pushed off. Molina dances around on his toes and ducks a wild right hook. Clinch. Molina grabs and spins Lopez around, into the middle of the ring. Now Molina blocks a pair of right hooks, with one finding a little bit of flesh under the elbow. Molina chases with his jab. They trade some more at the bell, with Molina's speed making the difference again.

Round 5

Molina is reverse-windmilling a bit, throwing low uppercuts with either hand from the outside. He's actually getting popped with the lead left of Lopez a bit, but by no means getting out-landed (nor damaged by the shots, with which he is just getting nudged by the tips). Lopez is confident, though. He's reaching hard with his right jab, missing it badly but keeping it coming. Lopez lands a nice short right hook while Molina is flurrying low on him. Right jab to the body by Lopez, pulled back low. Molina goes to take advantage by flurrying in but Lopez smacks him with a short backhand jab before he'll pulled it all the way in. Another exchange at the bell.

Lopez's best round, but still a shutout.

Round 6

Lopez drops his head and rams into Molina with it, swinging his arms recklessly overhead. Molina rains down on his exposed crown with slapping shots. Lopez won't back off and gets hits with loads of shots on the face and lower back. Molina slowly but surely shows signs of tiring. Lopez - winded himself - is pushing into Molina and maybe trying to let him punch himself out. Some lady in the crowd starts whining "come on!" when there's a third long clinch in thirty seconds. More octopus war. Lopez looks like he's ready to have a go. He pumps himself up and waltzes across the ring to bring his fists down to bear on Molina. He lands one or two glancing shots but takes about four times as many clean short counters.
