Chris Arreola vs. Kendrick Releford & Tony Thompson vs. Maurice Harris RBR

Yeah, it was one of those cases where there's a huge gulf in class but almost made up for with sheer will.

I don't think Molina is necessarily going to become a great prospect, either, despite being on a much higher level of talent than Lopez. There was a lot there that concerned me about him at this level.

 

Someone has to fill the ****-talking void with Void on the sidelines.

 

Round 1

Jab to the body by Releford. Releford keeps stepping out and jabbing as Arreola comes in. Releford scoring with jabs up high, staying outside. Arreola slips a few jabs, dipping side to side from the waist (but not moving his head) and throws his own jab. Releford is walked to the ropes and Arreola opens up a bit, clubbing away as Releford stays behind his guard and lets him pour the punches on. Arreola lands a couple of jabs and hooks to the head now, picking his shots from outside as Releford is mostly shelled up defensively.

10-9 Arreola (although Releford had a strong first half)

 

Round 2

Releford is being first with his right hand leads and putting left hooks behind it. Arreola blocks while wading in, and reaches around with some rights to the muscled body of Releford. Arreola reaches around and squeezes some sweat out of his opponent's dreads with a left hook. Arreola is pecking away with hard left hooks high and low and clubbing away with the right every now and then to keep things interesting. Releford isn't producing much offense other than a couple of light blows to what little remains of Arreola's pot belly.
