On the news on fights, on the undercard of Ward-Abraham in the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. What a crappy fight, indeed.

What a fall from grace. From fighting Vitali and Adamek, to Sam Peter's leftovers.

    Wonder what he'll weight?

I think he'll be in the 240's and KO this guy in 2 or 3

Way to step it up, facing some clown who has lost 3 of his last 4 fights.

Oh, great. A silver platter gimme for Arreola to use as a stepping stone to yet another unearned opportunity. He won't need to spend a day in the gym to beat Aguilera. The sad part is that his deluded fans will hype it up as a "good win" over someone who scored a quick knockout of a former champ.

If he weights less then last time and shows some improvements + delivers a beautiful KO, i see it as a good fight.

No complaints, Aguilera seems to be the new stepping stone fringe guy everyone beats up before a real fight.

That's deceiving. He isn't truly worthy of that upper echelon gatekeeper status. He is really, really, really, really bad.

I'm not just saying this in light of him losing 3 out of 4, either.

If you go back through my search history to the aftermath of the Maskaev win, when people were jumping on his bandwagon and trying to shrug off his previous two losses as flukes or "a green boxer working out the kinks" (many without having actually seen the fight and/or ignorant of how shot the already chinny to begin with Maskaev actually was) I was the lone voice in the wilderness saying "No, this guy sucks. Trust me..."

Believe me when I say that most of Arreola's victims from the last few years would beat Aguilera. Travis Kaufman, Brian Minto, Quezada, Witherspoon, shot McCline - all these guys knock Aguilera out cold (and some of those don't even have a serious HW punch).

    :deal

You'd think getting outboxed by Mo Harris would clue people in to the fact that tipping the old Russian cow didn't mean anything or signify any real ability...but no...

Hell, I'm not sure I gave him a single round against Tarver. Gotta go back and check. He got schooled in any event...by a 41 year old LHW.

I am not gonna bust his chops too hard for fighting Aguilera next. He needs to stay active and get his confidence back. This is a good stay busy fight much better than some of the bums that Rahman routinely runs through.
