Just watching this fight for the first time and was looking in this thread at some cards because I thought mine was probably far different. I'm currently at the end of 6 and I have it 4-2 Arreola aswell. The reason for it is simple, Adamek has so far not established his jab and Arreola is getting through with his. His work is more subtle and he's landing the harder shots. Adamek with the flashier work and he's controlling the ring in spurts, but not affectively enough because Arreola at this point is starting to pile on the pressure, get through with shots, hurt Adamek and have him fumbling around the ring like a drunkard.
For what it's worth, my scorecard in the end was: Round One: Chris Arreola 10-9 Round Two: Chris Arreola 10-9 Round Three: Tomasz Adamek 10-9 Round Four: Chris Arreola 10-9 Round Five: Tomasz Adamek 10-9 Round Six: Chris Arreola 10-9 Round Seven: Tomasz Adamek 10-9 Round Eight: Tomasz Adamek 10-9 Round Nine: Tomasz Adamek 10-9 Round Ten: Chris Arreola 10-9 Round Eleven: Tomasz Adamek 10-9 Round Twelve: Tomasz Adamek 10-9 Tomasz Adamek 115-113 Clear win for Adamek despite it being close. He really controlled it down the stretch as he upped his work-rate and stopped Arreola getting off first. I gave Arreola a couple of rounds that perhaps others gave to Adamek, based on landing the more effective punches and effective aggression, in which Adamek as a result lost his ability to control the ring in those rounds. I think either 116-112 or 117-111 scorecards are fair.
Nonsense! What has Haye done at HW for Adamek to stay away from him? This the same line of crap I was reading before this fight... "stay away from Arreola". The better Adamek's competition, the better he performs.
Adamek need more time , fights the shows better performance . Lately he was CW / Maybe he will drop some bigger guys in future .
