Chris Arreola vs Tommy Morrison

I think you should **** off and stop making **** threads.

 

Think this would actually be an awesome fight and one that I would have liked to see.. Two big punchers who liked to brawl and weren't afraid to mix it up... Morrison took on similar fighters in such guys like Joe Hipp and ended up winning a war against him.... Don't know who wins, but I imagine that it would be a crowd pleasing slugfest.

I think Morrison was the more refined skilled guy by quite a decent margin......on the other hand, Arreola is tough and can punch (but even so Morrison is the bigger puncher)....

I like Morrison by TKO between 7 or 9....

 

Not a bad prediction.. Although I think Morrison's shaky chin could be his downfall, but I'm still not committed to a winner.. Anyone can take this.

I also think this would be a great fight. I could see either guy winning. Arreola could stop Morrison but Morrison could stop Arreola. Tough fight to call but I would probably lean towards Arreola winning a war late.

 

It might be interesting to see if Morrison chooses to box, rather than punch the way he did against George Foreman... Under those circumstances, I would heavily raise Tommy's chances.. Problem however is that he only employed that tactic perhaps once in his career. I don't know if he'd view Areola as much of a threat as Foreman, and may decide to trade with him.. Chris was the bigger fighter and had what I would consider as equal punching power and possibly the better chin... I still say its a pick 'em fight, but the more I think about it the more I'm leaning towards Arreola, unless Morrison does something out of the ordinary strategy wise.

 

Lardass Arreola does haev a canny lot better chin than Morrison (not really an achievement ) BUT Tommy had way more punching power - his left-hook had 1-punch KO power to teh highest level possble. Chris is a grinding accumulation-puncher - NOT a big one-punch KO-Artist. :deal

 

Morrison is the better fighter and should beat Arreola. Arreolas best chance is letting his hands go and trying to push Morrison back, Arreoa has fairly good combinations for a bit man and Morrison may crumble under pressure.

 

I'd favour Morrison to KO Arreola. Physically and technically he is far superior to Arreola who's only chance is to KO Morrison early before he gets KO'ed himself which would be inevitable when you consider Morrison's power combined with Arreola lack of defence. If an unknown like Molina can hurt Arreola, I'm pretty certain Morrison has more than enough power to put Arreola to sleep for the 10 count.
