Thats an insult to Joe Hipp! I kind of agree with this. Id like to see Arreola take the bombs Hipp did against Morrison. Until he proves otherwise, he really doesnt appear to be much better.

Wow I cannot wait until Chris Arreola proves you doubters wrong. Maybe not against Vitali Klitschko at this stage, but down the line trust me he will prove himself. Arreola has some serious skills for a slugger, and serious finishing ability and if you dont see it...then prepare yourself to be shocked down the line. Sam Peter cannot hold a candle to Chris Arreola and he floored Wladimir Klitschko 3 times....Arreola is better than Peter both skill wise and punching ability.

I suggest watching the 239lb Chris Arreola who fought Undefeated Chazz Witherspoon to get a glimpse of his skillset. Arreola threw a thudding jab, difficult high gaurd defense, blistering 1-2 combos, aggresive attacks, and a solid workrate. That is the Arreola we need to see more often. I hope chris comes back down to 235lb soon.

Like I said...This will be the best victory Vitali has ever recorded. Vitali does not have a good resume for how highly people rate him.

Being better than Sam Peter means jack **** to me ,I have allways thought he was a clumsy, rabbit punching ,out of shape brawler ,and I predicted Vitali would beat him.
I think this fight comes too early for Arreola, and it may prove to be his only flirtation with the top boys, locking the fridge door would be a good start.

Using Chazz Witherspoon to compare to Klitschko is not a good example. Believe me I hope Arreola suprises us all, and I hope the first suprise is that the picture of him where he looks like Butterbean is really his twin brother, because for him to get into good fighting condition in a month and half is going to be really tough.

Arreloa is better than Hipp for sure.

Vitali wanted Valuev or Haye, but they wanted no part of him.

I do think Arreola is more proven than Haye at heavyweight.

Haye wanted the Klitscko fight ,but was injured.
    AS YOU KNOW.
Haye was beating the drum for this fight for a year ,shooting off his mouth ,if he didnt want the fight why would he hype and publicise it?
The terms to fight Vitali were not acceptable ,so Haye fights Valuev.
Hopefully then the winner meets either brother.
Valuev is the one who wants no part of Vitali, and I think he is wise to avoid him, if he wants to continue as a top liner earning good money.
You are right about Arreola being more proven than Haye ,but his competiton ,hasnt exactly been fierce either.

His manager seems to think he'll be 245 for Vitali. Better but still too much.

Problem I have with Arreola here is that I doubt his gas tank. Vitali is a surprisingly high volume puncher and Arreola is not difficult to hit. Vitali also had a good chin so an early attack is not a definite clincher too. If you get into a situation where Arreola needs to win on points instead then I simply doubt he had the conditioning to do so.

I think he'll be spirited, which will put him above some recent title challengers, but ultimately end up ground down and stopped.

The Klitschko's have had a combined 90+ fights. Haye is the lone person to complain about the contract. I'll take Haye at his word for being injured and pulling out of the match with Wlad, but I think Haye clearly avoided Vitali. The fight was there for Haye, and he bloted. It was the smart move for Haye. He has a much better chance to defeat Valuev.

Haye agreed to face Wlad with his only money coming from Setanta Sports and said then they wanted 3 rematch clauses but he just wanted the fight. Setanta went bust so Haye wouldn't have made a penny from facing Wlad, that was the real reason for the pull out and quite rightly, no fighter should be fighting for free.

Against Vitali he had the same clauses and probably less money (Sky probably paying less than Setanta), Valuev pays the same with less clauses, it makes sense to get an easier HW belt, build up a unification fight from winning this 1 and take more of the purse when he does face a Klit, plus let them get a little older

It just all makes more sense long term, lets just hope King doesnt get in the way of unification

I certainly don't think he's afraid, then again I don't buy the whole thoughts of 'fear' that fans throw about most the time anyway. With Haye I think he fancies his chances, otherwise he wouldnt have signed with Wlad in the first place

Funny how Vitali fans are Degrading Haye for pulling out of the fight, when Vitali himself is the ALL time king at pulling out of fights on last minutes notice.

I wouldn't bet against Arreola to hurt Klitschko and quite possibly make him quit, especially considering his power. Do I think it happens? No. Arreola will lose if he brings that spare tire around his waist to this fight. Conditioning will be a factor in the outcome, and if Arreola is not in better shape, it will be a matter of how soon in the fight does Klitschko stop him.
