Apologize a bit for last night's post, which was made under the influence. I didn't really provide any form of analysis.

Arreola is a tough guy, but has a poor defense. I don't care how tough you are, you can not effectively get off your shots while cleanly getting hit. Arreola will be lucky if this fight only resembles Vitaly vs Danny Williams, and doesn't become something worse.

Look what I do like about Arreolai s the way he came roaring back from the knockdown and crushed that guy. It will be interesting as Vitali is both old and injury prone ... If he has anything left, I see him stopping Chris in about five rounds ... however, it would be real exciting if SQ is right ...

Where does Vitali stand in terms of legacy if he gets beaten now by Arreola?

    That would look awful.

You mean it's awful when you lose to a young, undefeated contender who has a 90% KO ratio when you're 38 years old and have been plagued by injuries for four years?

Did it bother you when a fat slob like Foreman was sitting on the throne in 1994/1995? hehe :yep

What leads you to believe that Vitali is slipping? Is it just his age? To me, he looks and fights no different than he ever did. I think a lot of people automatically assume a fighter is slipping or "past it" as soon as they reach some magical age.

He has a chance but I think this fight comes too early for him.
Maybe their thinking is Vitali is aging, and could be knocked off at any time, maybe they think their tiger ,with his porous defence could be eliminated in a smaller ,less profitable fight,so "take the money and run".
My pick is Vitali ,by midway stoppage,at least it should be more entertaining than the sad travesty of sparring sessions that have been served up as Heavyweight title fights lately.
