Arreola will get past McCline, but against the elite of the division will he ever come into the ring looking like an athlete. What will happen if he is taken into the trenches?

What is his optimum weight? 220 -230, without those love handles on his stomach

yeah it will catch up with him. it wouldnt be as much of an issue if he fought like a big

lumbering slugger, but he fights at a high workrate and will need to be on the top guys for

all 12 and if he comes in giggling almost hypnotically he wont be able to

Honestly, I don't expect him to survive the McCline fight. (If he's 250lbs +)
And if he does, Whatever he's been doing up to that point he would need to do it x2.
(If he want's to stay on top, Getting in & out of shape ruins a fighter)

He should be going in way below the 250+lb like was in his last fight. His last two fights, where he's been his heaviest have both finnished early, which is probably a good thing for him as I doubt he'd last long with all that weight.

240 is a good weight for him. He was supposedly 250 last week according to the site with news about fights.

Shoot, he was LHW as an amateur at one point. He's big boned, but he doesn't need to be as fat as he is. He looked to be in much better shape around the time of the Wills fight, when he weighed about 230. He's put on about 30 pounds in the last two years, and most of it isn't muscle. There really isn't a good excuse for that.

I don't think Arreola will get past McCline, if he does it'll be a close decision win.

I know what your saying but I honestly don't see arreola having the stamina for going 12 rounds.
If it goes past 6 rounds I fancy him to get stopped.

He's a big ol'l fatass, but his stamina seems to stand up prey well. Although he should still lose some weight but more for reasons of mobility and quickness.

He put on 20 pounds in 3 months between the Witherspoon and Garcia fights, and he only took 5 of it back off when he faced Walker. You don't gain 20 pounds in 3 months by working out hard. You gain that kind of weight by eating pizza and carnitas all day and not taking training seriously.
