I would rather see Chris fight someone other than a Klitschko victim. I like Arreola & I want to see him fight one of the Klitschkos but there's always a chance he could lose to Thompson or Peter. A fairly good chance IMO. Then we'd have a Wlad vs. Thompson II or a Wlad vs. Peter II and I'd rather see Wlad fight different fighters such as Valuev, Chagaev, Arreola, Povetkin, Solis, etc.
At this point I'd be shocked if Peter didn't KO Arreola. Sam has big fight experience where Chris has very little ring time. SAm's chin is far more proven than Arreola's too.
:goodRight on all points. Peter, even as limited as he is, would thrash Arreola in a onesided affair. I doubt Arreola has the balls to fight Peter, right now. With Wlad, Arreola was going to make alot of money................high risk/ high reward. Against Peter, Arreola won't make nearly as much money............high risk/moderate rewardl. Don't think Arreola would risk fighting the stout, hard punching Sammy Peter, given that it won't get him that much clout if he were to win.........all a Peter fight will get Arreola is knocked the **** OUT. :good Peter is a wounded bull with a hurt pride...........and he is looking to make an example out of someone........ He'd take Arreola's head off, and quick.
Agreed.. the only question in Sams game is mental IMO. How will he come beck from the Vklit fight? Sam needs to change his team and refocused then take on Arreola
Hey buddy, I wanted your thoughts on that guy slamming Uncle Manny...I guess you wouldn't have experienced that problem since you make the food anyway...
Heavyrighthand, it's been awhile since we seen eye to eye, but this definitely one of those times. Your post was dead on, and yes, Peter would make Arreola face even more scary, after Peter's overhand right makes contact with it. I have watched both men fight, and I honestly cant see how Peter could lose this one. Arreola, like Peter, is very easy to hit and is extremely stationary, something Peter would have no trouble in finding and taking out. If you stand still against Sam, I promise you, you wont last long. Overall it will be an exciting fight while it lasts, but if Arreola thinks he can win a toe to toe war with Samuel Peter, he's dead wrong.
Please elaborate as to how Peter's chin is "questionable" :deal How many times has Peter been down??? He took bombs from both Klitschko's and remained upright. Maskaev couldn't deck him either and all three are noted punchers. Yeah, he's been troubled, but these are heavyweights!! :nut So now an overrated contender will be the first man to stop Peter, huh?? I'm guessing if anyone is tasting canvas, it will be Arreola. :smoke
Idiots who call Peter fat make themselves look a little stupid. :deal Sure, he's not the best conditioned heavyweight, but he's hardly fat. He had enough stamina to deck Klitschko late didn't he. :nut But yeah, sure I know nothing. Next time I'll listen to some random noob who has the nerve to call a former WBC champion "a fat pig". Clown. :blood
So he did actually take bombs then?? You base his "questionable chin" on the fact he quit against Vitali?? What other fight has stood up to that sort of punishment and remained upright or not seriously wobbled??? Williams?? Sanders??? So, I'm guessing Wlad's power is somewhat "questionable" if after twelve rounds of landing right hand after right hand, he couldn't take "the fat pig" out?? atsch Clown. :blood
Alot of great and tough fighters quit in their corner, Liston, Tyson, Duran, Brewster, Vitali, and many others, sometimes it's just not your night. I'm sure Sam Peter's more of a man than you will ever be, that much I'm certain of.
