Is he going to take his long overdue beating from Opetaia in due course?

Hopefully this means an Opetaia fight.

Kind of want to see him move up to HW as Opetaia and Riakporhe are doing alright there but I can't see CBS's style translating well against the big dogs at HW.

That would just be another one sided beatdown and showcase fight for Opetaia. The other beltholders need to find their balls already and fight him.

I agree, although CBS would be easily Opetaia's second best win. I don't hold much hope that the other CW champions will fight Opetaia.

Nobody else can match oil money. They will sign who they want to. Every boxer knows that they could be killed or maimed at any time, of course the money talks.

The IBF matched Riley and Masternak as the eliminator to fight Opetaia.

When they stripped Opetaia, Riley-Masternak should have reverted to a fight for the vacant title.

The IBF got clever and thought they would make higher sanctioning fees if they instead added Billam-Smith to the equation.

Now that Zuffa have snaffled Billam-Smith, the IBF might as well just post their belt to Riley.

I'm not saying CBS will beat Opetaia, but he would be his hardest and most meaningful fight since Opetaia's first bout with Briedis.
