Bournemouth Arena booked for December 9 and December 16 forcing them to go on Sunday. Masternak lost to Bellew years ago for the European Title. Masternak was owed a fight by Boxxer because they asked him to step-aside so Riakporhe could become mandatory for Opetaia's World Title, before Shalom and Boxxer pulled him out as Matchroom and Hearn signed Opetaia.

Not good for attending but appealing for TV viewers

Ridiculous to do this on a Sunday.

More people will watch on Sunday off the back of Premier League football?
They had no choice. Bournemouth International Arena booked for December 9 and December 16. Billam-Smith only sells in Bournemouth so they had to go there. It's not a great fight but it's a world title fight - I have also heard that McKinson vs Avanesyan will be chief support which I'm really looking forward to if it happens.

Very good opponent for Billam-Smith and looking forward to this one.

Do not understand why some here are bitching about it being on a Sunday, if its the only date available at the chosen venue. Given the fact it is in Bournemouth right at the southern end of England, it will have a local fanbase attending anyway.

Boxxer should bung Steve Bendall some £ and swap his Friday night for their Sunday.
Bendall is there the 8th with a local show.

A Sunday just a much worse day for an evening out for many people and many like to make a weekend of it when going to the boxing. Suspect the atmosphere will suffer somewhat compared to a Saturday night.

Being selfish for a minute then it means I can't go as no trains to get me home and can't stay over. Sure they'll be others in that situation too.

Bournemouth International Arena sold out again despite this being on a Sunday with a dreadful undercard. I’d like to see Billam-Smith return to the Vitality Stadium next year against Richard Riakporhe.
