Chris Bryd TKO 10 Vitali Klitschko...... is Larry Merchant right or wrong?

Vitali did not quit in Lewis fight and anyone knows that.

Vitali would knock Byrd out. Vitali had very bad arm injury, rotator cuff, had 2.5 hours of surgery after the fight. Vitali was easily beating Byrd with one arm, but his arm went numb. Haters lie like Hell. They are so angry that Vitali stopped their hero Peter, then Gomez, next up with be? Haye or Maskaev.

 

If Vitali could knock Byrd out, then why did he quit like a coward against Byrd?

Last time I checked, the result was Byrd TKO10 Bitchko, not the other way around.

 

Sorry you are so ignorant of fight. You do not know what happened and do not understand. Buddy McGirt lost his career because he waited too long to correct shoulder with surgery. Vitali got his 2.5 hours of surgery, if not, he would never have been able to fight again. Will you become a six time world kickboxing champion superheavyweight division both amateur and pro? Fight kickboxing fight then boxing fight? Become International boxing amateur champion. World military champion? Become WBO heavyweight champion? WBC champion? Ignorance is no excuse for ignorance.

It was a stupid move in Vitali's part but he learned his lesson and moved on that is what you are suppose to do.

If he was a quitter he would have never gave Lewis the fight of his life or been able to withstand that onslaught from Corrie Sanders.

 

Holyfield in his 40s fought with a torn rotator cuff from the 2nd rd on against Byrd, Vitali quit because he was tired and Byrd was walking him down.

 

Sanders did not floor Vitali. Vitali beat the crap out of Sanders.

I would say pain tolerance and the ability to deal with adversity are largely genetically determined and can be viewed objectively in the same light as hand speed, punching power, etc, and it could be said that based on the Chris Byrd fight, Vit doesn't have the same mental stamina as the likes of Frazier and Ali, for instance.
