Curious to see how people think Chris Byrd who Lennox Lewis infamously ducked would fare against Lewis, an ATG top 4 HW's 5 toughest fights.

    1. Vitali Klitschko. 2003

Vitali somewhat past his best here after his career threatening injury still was a formidable foe. My moneys on Byrd ecking out a win here on points.

    2. Holyfield. 1999

Easy win here for Byrd, Holy didn't do well against elusive fighters. I see Byrd winning this one wide on points.

    3. Holyfield. 1999 again

Again easy win here for Byrd, Holy didn't do well against elusive fighters. I see Byrd winning this one wide on points.

    4. David Tua. 2000

I think Byrd would prove to be far too slick for the plodding Samoan. Take away his power and Tua's easy pickings really. A defensive master like Byrd would prove to be far too elusive here I reckon. Byrd points.

    5. Mike Tyson. 2002.

This version of Mike doesn't deserve to be in the same ring as Byrd. I see Mike being miles behind on points before his gas goes and gets brutally stopped in a fashion akin to the Danny Williams KO. Byrd late Ko here.

    If in that order.

    1. Byrd vs Vitali - we've seen that. Byrd RTD. If it lasts all 12, then Vitali 116-112 or 117-111.

2-3. Byrd - Holyfield 1 and 2. I think it's more like 115-113 for Byrd as Holy was past his best clearly in 99. Hovewer, judges could see the fights differently.

    4. Byrd - Tua. Byrd easy 116-112 or 117-111 as Tua was in worse shape for Lewis (12 lbs heavier)

    5. Byrd - Tyson. Tyson wins 1st rd and maybe 1-2 later,so Byrd 118-110 or 117-111, easily. Hovewer, he won't stop Tyson with feather fists.

But I don't rate Byrd as high as Lewis, of course:p
He was too small/ had too little power to become ATG.

Well, he already beat Vitali, Holyfield and Tua, and against all of those he was more convincing than Lennox.

Also, didn't know 6'2 is small.

Wait a stoppage on a cut in a fight you were losing is one of his best 5 wins of his career???

Chris Byrd beat prime Vitali more convincingly than Lewis did. Also Byrd did not struggle with Holyfield at all. Simply outboxed him just like Lewis should have but failed to do.

Byrd won 1/9 rounds against Vitali and even that 1 round was pretty controversial

Both Byrd/Lewis don't have a true win against Vitali. You need to win at least 3 rounds against an opponent to truly win a fight without any knockdowns or the ref jumping in to save the fighter.

Chris Byrd actually BEAT Vitali, Tua and Holyfield. So the only one left is a shot-to-pieces Mike Tyson, who Byrd would have beaten just like he beat Tua.

So many gay Lennox fans here, it's amazing. Anyone who votes for anything other than 5/5 is in denial.

The only two guys who beat prime Chris Byrd are Ike Ibeabuchi and Vladimir Klitschko. Lennox wanted no part of Byrd, so that tells you what would have happened in that fight.
