Did Wlad get offered the equivalent of $1M to not fight Leapai?

Did Wlad have the prospect of another Mega-Fight and Payday against an ATG?

Had Wlad achieved everything he'd wanted to in the sport and was he contemplating retirement?

I don't think so and I'm sticking with the more reasonable explanation...

"...there was no public interest in a Lennox Lewis/Chris Byrd bout."
"...Chris Byrd offers no competitive challenge to [Lewis]."
"...as well as Don King paying Lewis $1M to vacate. Easy money."

Add to this, a Tyson rematch was still a possibility, at this stage, and it was the only thing that had delayed Lewis's retirement.

Facts are irrelevant for biased people :patsch

Byrd beat Vitali, Holyfield and Tua way more easily and convincingly than Lummox did.

Last but not least, Lennox Lewis did drop a belt to avoid the mandatory fight with Chris Byrd :deal:deal:deal:deal:deal

Lennox fought all comers beat every man he faced in the pro ring. When has Wlad fought anyone with a chance??
Wlad had the chance to challenge Lennox after Lennox destroyed Vitali's face. Instead he ran & hid :rofl he was:scaredas:
Lennox coulds beat those three on the same night :patsch

Greg Gorell KO'ed by Lewis in 5 rounds and a southpaw so yes the idea that Lewis NEVER fought a southpaw is a lie. Owned! :deal :hammertime

Funny because the only reason Lewis won the fight was because of a Vitali injury, too. The difference is that, according to boxing rules, when a fight is stopped for injury, the victory is given to the fighter ahead on the scorecards.

This is perfectly logic of course, because you can be the GOAT in your division and being obliterating your opponent, then your opponent accidentally headbutts and cuts you, and it would be insane to give the victory to the opponent losing the fight.

Hence, according to boxing rules, Vitali won the lewis fight

If Lewis had managed to beat both Chris Byrd and Wladimir Klitschko those two would have been his best ever wins by a mile. As it is Lewis not fighting both severely dented his cv.

Lewis's two best ever wins now are post injury Vitali and an old Holy a decade past his best.

I'm glad I have seen and participated in this thread. At the very least, I have now identified five posters, with whom potential mental health issues are quite likely and who should probably not be debated with again - or, not until such time as they receive the proper treatment.

Except for IBF mandatory Chris Byrd and of course the Vitali rematch....:patsch

And what is it with Lewis and Haye fans and their "theoretical" wins complex?

The only way you win is if you get in the ring and win! Coulda should woulda doesn't mean ****.

The fight was stopped because the doctor said Vitali could not continue because Lennox had beaten him so bad & nearly took his face off. Lennox wins TKO in 6 stuff that in your pipe & smoke it lol

What is it you do not comprehend about the words "no public interest" and "no competitive challenge"?

What is it with Klitschkonettes and their inability to comprehend Lewis W TKO6 - Klitschko 60 stitches?

    Coulda, didn't needta, got paid $1M not-ta!!!
