This coming from a confirmed Klittard who's still in denial about Lewis beating a prime Vitali.

Still in denial? When was I EVER in denial? I've never had a problem acknowledging this.

At least I don't try to build up my favorite fighters with wins built on fantasies, especially when they could have actually achieved those wins but instead vacated titles and ran like Lewis did.

Lewis isn't even one of my top 20 favorite fighters... Probably not even in my top 50 all time, but like I said, you're a confirmed Klittard, and to think that Lewis wouldn't have destroyed Crisp Turd is laughable... Even given the fact that Turd made Vitali quit on his stool. :yep:lol:

Byrd beats all of them (he actually did beat most of them).

Lennox ducked Byrd. That tells you all you need to know.

Lennox will always be remembered as a great, no one will give a **** about Byrd in 10-15-20 years time.

I'd add that Byrd beat better versions of Tua and Holyfield than Lewis did. Tua was 12 pounds lighter,in much improved condition and demonstratively faster. Holyfield was fighting more actively and coming off one of the best performances of his career in a schooling of Rahman. Coming in against Lewis, Holyfield had only fought once in nearly 2 years. That one fight being a tepid decision victory against Vaughn Bean. Byrd's win over Vitali was better too, he was actually fighting competitively and was merely being outpointed not bludgeoned like Lewis.

Outside of the obligatory early round puncher's chance, Tyson would have had no other way of winning. 2002 Tyson would have stood no chance of outpointing Byrd seeing as he was a 3 round fighter with terribly eroded skills and poor workrate. Byrd outpoints this version of Tyson or possibly even TKO's him late if Mike really runs out of gas.

When he quit, yes he was ahead on the scorecards.

    What's your point?
