Honestly, I'm really stoked for Chris, I hope he finds success. We'll see how he handles George, see if this is for real.

One thing Chris will have is confidence at this weight, as he was used to fighting guys so much larger, he's going to feel huge in there against small guys.

    ...and why so late? >>>> $$$$$$$$$ <<<<

He made a lot of money at Heavyweight, money he would have never seen at Cruiser or LHW in America.

it seems like they are building up a chris byrd vs Roy jones fight. Both guys were on Friday night fights the other day talking about how they think it would be great for 2 former heavyweight champs to have a mega fight at 175.

Bryd should have made this move 5 years ago. To little to late I'm afraid.

The only reason why former silver middleweight olympic champion getting weight and starts his career at Heavyweight is because he is a dummy. No disrespect, but he wouldn't get a chance to become champion in middleweight division. Even as amateur he was too slow, no punching power.
He won't be able to show his fancy moves and avoid punches with smaller guys, i cant imagine him being a puncher even 2 rounds neither, he'll get too tired.

Although he'll knock several bums out, can't see him winning a champion. But I wish him good luck!

He wasn't a dummy, he made major bank in the Heavyweight division, and a good chunk of that was because he was undersized, so it bought him some love as a spoiler, it was a storyline.

He would have been just another guy at Super Middle, LHW, or Cruiser..

I think he now chose to make this big move after proving that SEX does not interfere with your performance on that fight science show. It actually makes you stronger! Way to go Chris!
