You mean, he should take his various weight division thashings in the proper sequence?

Yes, and I think her name is *Tracy*.

Kidding. Good luck to Chris Byrd. Seems like a great guy who just may have something left. I think he may suprise us.

I just don't see Byrd getting anywhere with this. On top of how lousy he looked last time out, he just won't have the speed advantage at CW (against good ones) that he did with the lumbering HW's and he still won't have the power to get anyone's respect. That's not a recipe for success.

chris is a nice guy and a good fighter too, despite his physical disadvantages he achieved a whole lot more than other more "gifted" boxers ever did. Wish him well at CW

I think he will look good in this fight. He lost too much weight in too short a time for the other one. We will soon see.

I think he already retired twice. He said something about retirement already after Povetkin, but instead went down to LHW.

I do not know what does he want to achieve. He earned nowhere as much as Tyson or Holy, but he didn't have numerous wives/kids/other either, so after few years of being titleholder and top challenger he should have enough to retire. And if he does not have, fighting tomato cans won't change it.

Interesting... but why does it appear Klitschko cheerleaders are the only people who believe Chris Byrd will make some noise in his ill-faded "comeback"? It appears Klitschko cheerleaders second favorite fighter is Chris Byrd, I wonder why that is? :think

Byrd should retire. I wonder why he continues boxing.

He was ranked #1 by The Ring for a period when there was no champ (before his second loss to Wladimir).

We'll see how he does. He just looked completely shot at 175, maybe he'll be able to pull the trigger a little better at 200.

Chris should really retire but he should be more comfortable at cruiser than he was at lightheavy.

Let's get something straight, "God" isn't telling Chris to come back but rather his gold digging wife Traci. Traci was the one who was managing Chris's money. Chris's money has dried up like Traci's snatch so she's pushing Chris to get out there and box so she can maintain her lifestyle. Traci may inevitably push Chris to his death...knock on wood.
