chris would win. somoen said he might of seen a flaw in tarvers game plan..well.

tarver fights tall and is a power puncher. he is also slow at times and covers into his defencive shell and is lathergic and seems to not put his man under pressure unless he is aggrsive. against roy jones he was but more due to that he was not goign to be able to out box him....

anyways tarver is the archetype for every heavywieght he has fought.

I think Byrd would easily beat Tarver. We all saw what a good technical boxer like Hopkins did to him.

Byrd has to adjust to the speed of that division and his loss of power (depending on where he weight loss is) but Byrd is durable and has skill and at that weight should make a mark

I knew you would respond to this thread in defense of Chrissy Byrd, Numbskull. You know Chrissy is the biggest name on Wlad's resume which doesn't say much about Wladdys "legacy". :D

i think he is done. too old and to have such a radical weight loss is going to effect his stamina. he should have just dropped to cw. he could compete with anyone there. but his workrate has never been very good.

but anyone who can take all those flush bombs from Wlad is one tough mf!
