So the Mongoose has taken Klittardom to a whole new level. Why would someone dedicate so much time to defending Chris Byrd? I understand he loves Voidimir, but this is just bizarre.
What are you thoughts on Marquez/Bradley? I think it depends how much Marquez has in the tank, honestly. Lots of fighters like him usually fall off after conquering their major rival in satisfying fashion, like Fraizer did after beating Ali. Do you think Marquez will build from the Pac victory or will he be a spent force? Do you think Bradley can outbox him and force Marquez to play chaser? :think
Corrie Sanders had an ankle injury, tried to pull out of the fight with Rahman, but HBO would not allow it. Sanders could not spar, nor could he do his road work. He hurt Rahman, but was totally out of shape. When Sanders fought Vlad, it was Vlad who did not bother to train much, mostly weight lifting, he did not really spar, much less with any southpaws. He had never even seen Corrie Sanders. I wrote the warning right here on ESB before that fight, wrote it on boxing.de, wrote Klaus Peter Kohl and warned a member of Team Klitschko. Sander's nickname was "The Sniper". Vlad went into the ring cold and unprepared. He had just beaten Jameel McCline by TKO and wanted to fight another big name, yet Kohl had him fight Sanders. Sanders was in the best shape of his life, he went down to only 225lbs, very light for a 6 foot 5 fighter, he was a southpaw. Sanders had been trained for months, he had been preparing to fight Valoeuv in South Africa. Rahman knocked Lennox Lewis out cold, a KO, not a TKO either. Vlad stopped Rahman. Vlad won the gold, he beat all the other champions except Vitali, of course. Vlad beat Byrd two times, once by one-sided UD and the second fight by knockout!
