And who are these 50 year old meat eaters you are talking about?
High quality, grass fed meat is the healthiest food one can consume.

The average american/brit/german is in 7 out of 10 cases obese when getting older then 50. chris byrd has a sixpack and a little muscle definition and he is far from looking like he is starving. A lot of omnivore boxers blow up right after their career not even approching 40 and look like balloons and no one is blaming the fact that they eat meat. You are simply biased towards vegans, if he would be a meat eater you would make no remarks about the way he looks.
To clarify i am not a vegan.

Yeah bro but the problem is that almost nobody eats that kind of quality. Way over 90% of the meat we eat is of trashy quality.
The matter of the fact is that the whole western world would be way healthier is they turned vegan from one day to another.
And fish is generally regarded as way healthier then most meats, better fats, better protein and so on.

You think meat makes people fat?
Not all the sugar, low quality carbs and rest of the inflammatory garbage that is in everything?
Food quality is to blame for the obesity, not meat. Otherwise these new age carnivores would all be obese as well.

Absolute nonsense, to be truthful. It would only be temporary.
People would be starving of nutrients. Cancer rates would sky rocket, as would many other diseases. The next generation would be the unhealthiest people ever born.

His physique looks great, he's in superb shape, but it's the old adage...

    (1) with the right diet and exercise it's perfectly doable to get a guy who's even relatively far into middle age to look a million dollars; but
    (2) this illusion will never survive the first few seconds of the opening bell of a fight;
    (3) or in Chris's case, the first few seconds of an Instagram video working a bag.

no i never said that, i only tried to show you the logical flaw you have. If a vegan has a health related problem, you would relate it directly to the fact that they are vegan. Which is stupid anyway since byrd looks healthy. I just did the same with meat eating to show you how flawed your argument is.

no cancer rates would not rocket. For decades now it is evident that pesco veggies and veggies have lower cancer rates then meat eaters. So it is very likely that the same goes for vegans.

Man, Byrd looks like he's punching in slo-mo.

Please, please don't do this Chris.

He's going to get put into a coma if he tries to fight anybody serious.

Well I have actually put some thought behind it. It´s not just that I am against veganism. It´s because it´s a very unhealthy lifestyle.

And to me Byrd does not look healthy at all. He looks skinny and frail, as if he were starving. A vegan diet, no matter how well put together, will always lack in proper nutrition and it will lead to health problems, both physical and mental.

High quality vegan diet lacks in proper nutrition(there are some plants that are pretty healthy tho, depending on the person tho).
High quality meat rich diet is full of nutrition.
This is why I am knocking the diet and blaming his poor physique on the vegan diet.

Absolutely not the case, I am afraid.
I know a lot of the studies on vegans vs meat eaters cancer rates have ignored all other aspects of lifstyle and diet choices. Most people on the standard diet(the food pyramid) eat the unhealthiest diet of all. They eat both plants and meat, yet the meat gets to shoulder those cancer rates.

I feel Moorer ate himself into the heavyweight division too, his punch didn`t have the same snap at heavy and his body lost the definition it had at 175.

He should fight Nigel Benn at super-middle, at least his body would look stronger than this.

Byrd's a southpaw, yeah? It's only a short clip but I find it *slightly* odd that he barely throws a single power punch with his supposedly favoured hand? An old injury or something?
