    I have nothing against Byrd, I hope he does well because I think he was so blown up at heavy

    but he knew where the paychecks were and he got them so you can't fault him...

    I also think his power won't diminish that much from his heavyweight days.

    And if Byrd looks sick or like he's ready for bumfights, then so does Jermaine Taylor, Jeff Lacy, Bernard Hopkins, Roy Jones and any OTHER ripped and lean fighter.

    Byrd looks as impressive and in as good shape as anyone else,and he looks no more sick than any of these others mentioned.

    byrd comes off as a great dude but he is gonna get knocked out at 175. byrd got one of the worst beatings ive ever seen from wlad in their rematch. he had nothing left by the time he faced povetkin. no speed, no snap

    he might get by this dude first but the first live body takes him apart

    Why doesn't he fight at Cruiserweight?

    I'd have to believe going from HW DOWN to LHW would have to be severely unhealthy for the guy.

    At light heavy look for Bryd to reach the top ranks quite quickly, finally after all these years of boxing and being Heavyweight champ, he finally gets the attention and recognition he deserves, I wish him the best.
