So what if they're in shape. Agreed it doesn't look good when you get two fatties in their together but there are plenty of other decent heavies who are in good shape.

Agreed it would be the biggest heavyweight fight since Vitali/Lewis but that doesn't mean that the Klitschkos are good for the sport either. The reason it will be the biggest fight isn't because of them it is because of Haye and all the promo he has been building.

The fact that we've got TWO heavy weight champs who refuse to fight each other even though they are universally recognised as the best in the division is damaging to the sport. Add in the fact that they **** anyone else when it comes to contract negotiations and you get a very dull division, which is supposed to be the show piece of the sport, which seems more like a business than a sport.

They may be nice guys who do a lot of good charity work but they lack charisma and are not likely to draw many new fans to the sport.

What the sport needs is one recognised champ, who is either charismatic or controversial, regularly puts on entertaining fights and will take on all comers with minimal fuss.

 

The fact you feel the sport would be better off without 2 boxers in most peoples top ten pound for pound list is stupid.
As for not attracting new fans to the sport,these dudes are more popular than Haye will ever be.

Also on the Lennox thing, Vitali has banged on about it for ages now when it is clear that Lewis is clearly retired.

I'm not saying that Vitali didn't want to fight Lewis because he clearly did but to be calling out Lewis at this stage is pointless.

I also think Haye genuinly wants to fight the klits. And so far I have seen no evidence to suggest otherwise. Just a load of hearsay from either Klit fans or Haye haters (normally one in the same).

And Historically we do know the Klits offer hoendous contracts. It's perfectly reasonable to have a re-match clause but three is pushing it.

The fact is Vitali probably paid Sosnowksi about £500 000 for fighting him whilst recieving £5mil. Neither Klit wants to fight Haye their most dangerous opponent in years for a 50/50 purse when they can make just as much or more from fighting an easier opponent.

Outside of Germany, the general consunsus is that the heavy weight division is boring. This is in large part due to these two dominating Ukranians. Maybe the division and sport will be bettr off once they are knocked off their perches (even if it is only temporarily) rather than have gone but I stand by my point.

 

Boxing needs a single, recoginsed heavyweight champion, it's as simple as that.

The Klitschko's are just cockblocking anyone from having a realistic go at toppling them, and happily co-existing making fortunes.

There ought to be some rules for title fights, in terms of options, re-match clauses and percentages for champion and challenger when a defence is made voluntarily.

Obviously mandatory challengers receive 30% away from home, 20% at home, should the fight go to purse bid.

With this being a unification fight and all three holding a title each (plus Wlad has the spurios Ring title, and more spurious WBO & IBO belts) - Haye should receive 50% of the cash for Vitali, and 40% for Wlad, with a rematch clause.

Not a ''fight my brother next, then fight me again if you win'' clause, which would most likely leave him with plenty of miles on the clock and without a unified champion anyway.
