he should had been their a long time ago, if he can make the weight know. Probably could have had a better legacy and name
Byrd was big enough to fight at heavyweight where the money is. Byrd should fight Haye first though, would knock him out.
Nonsense! The last time Byrd Knocked out an opponent was over eight years ago - some bum by the name of Val Smith who had more loses than wins on his record. But somehow you believe Byrd would KO Haye? :rofl
Once again the reason why Farmboy, and every other Klitschko nuthugger, pump up Byrd's credibility is because they know Chrissy is the biggest name on Wlad's resume which really doesn't say much about Wlads's career. Inflating Byrd's credibility = inflating Wlad's 'legacy'.
Byrd is badly abused by Haye at this point, but what the flip does that matter now, seeing as he is fighting at light heavyweight, supposedly. I have no real opinion on this until I see Byrd in with a legit top 10 light heavyweight, which should be easy to arrange if he really wants it to happen.
Not exactly accurate, Byrd stopped journeyman Jeff Pegues in June of 2002. I was there. Byrd fought then they showed Lennox/Tyson on a big screen.
Accurate enough. Farmboy said "knock him out" which may imply "KO" rather than TKO as I did. Chrissy's last legitimate KO was 1999. In any event, Chrissy's last KO/TKO were against three rotten tomatoes that had abysmal records such as Jeff Pegues who was your local bum with an 18/16 record, barley over .500 A mediocre fighter is suppose to dispose of a bottom of the barrel journeyman like Jeff Pegues.
hmmm...interesting...I think he's past it now, but he might be able to make some noise and get a few more big paydays. Probably the reason he chose 175 instead of 200. You got the likes of Tarver, Johnson, Dawson, Hopkins, Calzaghe, Jones.
