Calm down, lean back and meditate an hour about that sentence than there is a good chance for you seeing the light.

Lets get real. They fight nothing alike and anyway Mike is a great fighter on his own. No need to compare them like that

I think Young is a misunderstood fighter. He really wasn't fast handed or quick footed. Jimmy took few risks, and was very hard to catch cleanly to the head. He had a good jab, but was very inconstant in his career.

Byrd to me is tougher, and threw more punches. Since a stoppage win here is highly unlikely, go with the more active fighter who is throwing more and landing more. I would go with Byrd here via boring decision.

While Young did well vs. Ali and Foreman, both guys were on the decline, and had issues with solid boxer types.

and fighting consistently. i don't want to completely discredit him and i should probably watch more young but i agree with this. his most memorable fights are against shadows of great fighters, one of whom he lost to. he sometimes won, sometimes lost but as a whole his career seems spotty at best. in his absolute prime, he made a tough ugly fight for all but where are these performances that show him as a h2h monster and not a calculated, risk free spoiler?
