Byrd had no power at all to keep Foreman off him and his legs were just as slow.. He'd get destroyed.

Unless he gets tagged as Moorer did, I'll choose Bryd on points.

Deevon...I think foreman knocks byrd out in 4.Byrd gets caught on the ropes and a brutal salvo eviscerates him.

Foreman couldn't catch up to Morrison, now he's going to trap an eel like Byrd? LOL.

Sloth-version Foreman would be swatting flies all night against Byrd.

Yeah, bad matchup for George. Byrd would outbox him without any problems outside of one or two rougher moments.

Old Foreman wasn't all-timer, even though he's one of my favorites and what he did was extremely impressive.

I think the way to describe old George is: "quite average for a young man, but extraordinary for an old man".

His second career took a top 10 HW to a top 5.

I just love the way he fought after his comeback. He was always cool and collected, he never rushed his attacks and I really like the idea of cross arm defense for a tank like Foreman. His durability was unbelievable for his age too and I believe that he's the strongest champion ever physically.

That said, he's slow as hell and that made him relatively easy to outbox.

Foreman lost movement and reaction time every year after making his comeback so picking him to win is dependent on the time period.

88-93 Forman is very underrated and I would pick him to beat a lot of guys better than Chris Byrd. Any time after 94 would give an advantage to Byrd as George was slowing down massively by then.

Foreman of 88 -93 lifted agile Burt Cooper clean out of his boots and mangled Pierre Coetzer another athletic guy in his prime.

This Foreman would find the not very hard to find Chris Byrd with ease and had the uppercut and bludgeoning power to make it too hard of a fight for Byrd to win.

Bryd actually has to throw and land punches to win and he has to do that inside the pocket. But he just doesn't have the power to stop Foreman from squashing him like a bug. Foreman can definitely do what Ike Ibeauchi did and blast right through Byrd as he tries to pot shot off the ropes.
The style is all wrong for Byrd. You needed LEGS to beat foreman ... Byrd had no legs AND no power!

Young old Foreman was deceptively agile on his feet , he was also very good at cutting off the ring. . Some of those early journeymen he fought literally ran from him but were still blown away.
